I am looking for a Very Good condicion Tokarev 40 (SVT) semi auto rifle. Any body know a good source?

That would be 32 ACP not APC

Well, the presidential choice will be between a gun banner and a gun banner. Somehow that makes some people think guns will be banned. Go figure.

If Hitler took over the USA and declared owning guns illegal, most people wouldnt do a F*ing thing.Unfortunately, I think you are right. There are a lot of gutless and unconcerned people in the U.S. population. The Founding Fathers would be disappointed but not surprised--after all, estimates are that about a quarter of males in the U.S. population at the time of the Revolution chose not to defend liberty then.

Dick’s Sporting Goods use to run “blue light specials” on 9mm. I think they would sell Remington UMC’s for around $9.99 for a box of 50ea 9mm. You had to buy 10 boxes. Also, try Graf’s & Sons website.

AmmoToGo.com usually has decent prices - check their "Clearance Items" page and "Hot Deals" page (upper right-hand corner of screen). And if you don't want to use a credit card, you can select "pay by money order" at check out; they allow two weeks to get the money order to them, and will ship your order upon receipt.

In the fwiw department, we went to the Tampa gun show today. It was at the Fair Grounds. Sweet Bay pavilion. Very, very large area in side.
Took us 20 minutes in line just to get inside. Two security personnel stated that the reason for the long wait was that the Fire Marshall stated it was over the occupancy capacity.
When we finally got in it was nothing but a$$es and elbows. I've been to many gun shows, and have never seen anything like it.
The First lady said we didn't spend enough money...I love my wife...

Thank you for the report. Perusing freerepublic is like having tens of thousands of FReinds around the country to keep us informed of events.

If Bud's got in some more of the 3-inch barrel S&W Model 10 police trade-ns, I would buy two of them RIGHT NOW.
I already grabbed one with a 4-inch barrel, and it is a great gun.
Bud's, J&G, and Classic Arms have all treated me well.

Preferable to FFg rifle powder? I may try that if I draw a tag for my .54 “Hawkin” this year. I have used 90gr and a power belt for quite a while.

Understood. My rifle shoots patched balls well. I shoot them generally for the same reason I chose a “Hawken” rather than a modern in-line type. The heavy powerbelts offer more reliable penetration on elk however so I use them when I hunt.
