The lady told me that SCF (Senate Conservatives Fund) is not affiliated with the RNC (a good thing) but is Sen DeMint's way of trying to get more conservatives elected to the Senate. That sounded like a worthy goal to me, so I donated (online not over the phone) and decided to post this for informational purposes for any Freepers who might be interested.
Don Stenberg would make a good Senator, much better than ethically-challenged Establishment Hack Jon Bruning. I hope that Stenberg can get the necessary funds.
You’re welcome! I like your tag line. It does and I do.
In Michigan I’m standing by Pete Hoekstra. He’s got some RINO tendencies but he’s to the right of McCain and on a whole other planet than Stabenow.
I don’t have anything bad to say about his GOP challenger but I don’t know much about him.
Good... I hope we’ve not ignored Him for too long..
Thanks for posting.
I’ve made a couple of modest doations to Stenberg’s campaign. I did it through Sen. DeMint’s site like you did. I would like for DeMint to get the credit for going against the establishment in trying to get conservative senators elected and hope it will propel him into the Majority Leader position to replace McConnell if enough conservatives are elected this cycle.
DeMint also backed Mandel in Ohio, and Mandel won the primary recently. DeMint is backing Cruz in Texas.
Follow Sen. DeMint on Twitter.

They still have “conservatives” in the Senate?
