The Breitbart vetting of President Obama continues with this incredibly revealing, damaging, disturbing and embarrassing video starring Democrat (or, should I now say, "Communist") Congressman, Danny K. Davis, serving the 7th district of Illinois (Chicago, of course). Here, Congressman Davis is walking out of the offices of the Communist Party USA, and is receiving an award for a "Lifetime of Inspiring Leadership", from People's World, the news arm for the Communist Party USA, Barack Obama is praising Davis, who he knew very well at the time, stating, "You just heard from one of the best congressman in the country, and the reason he's one of the best congressman in the country is that he shares our values."

Wishful thinking, Mr. Burke:

• Revealing - YES
• Damaging - UNLIKELY - who cares? Certainly not the LSM or Democrats.
• Disturbing - NO. Again, certainly not to LSM or Dems.
• Embarrassing - NO. To be embarrassed, you'd have to have a sense of right and wrong or perhaps patriotism. Dems are totally devoid of normal values.

Like the saying says, I don't think Dems or Obama would be damaged, disturbed or embarrassed if it were revealed he was roasting babies on the White House lawn.

After all, to most Americans these days, what is communism? Just another "lifestyle choice" or perhaps a better way to achieve "social justice," "environmental justice," or "food justice" than stale old democracy and capitalism.

I see why Palin was such a threat, for some crazy reason Mccain would not let her talk about this. She understood the scope, while the counrty was intentionally left in the dark. I remember her saying -He is not like us.

There has been a great dereliction of duty to country by the republican establishment, as the democrats drifted far left. The republicans knew it would help them solidify control in moderate/ conservative areas. So they ignored communists in Congress and the radicalization of many groups in society. But the result is leftism has become mainstreamed and the democrat party is dangerous.

It’s damning in our eyes, but is it to the rest of the American people?

I’m afraid the idea of vetting someone after the fact, just doesn’t work very well. There’s an element of fear in vetting him that would have been effective prior to the 2008 election; fear that you could elect a Communist as president. The Republicans blew it.

But no matter what terrible revelations you dig up, he’s had 3-4yrs to show everyone that he’s ‘just like you & me’ now.
People are unhappy about the unemployment rate and price of gas, but they’re not afraid of Obama, and they’re not going to believe that he’s a bad person or some kind of boogeyman.

People are concerned most about their wallets - not ideology or personality.

One thing about this event, it's becoming easier to tell one side from the other here at FR.
On one side you have those who keep pushing the meme of "this is nothing" and on the other side you have people saying let's look into this information some more and see else we can find out.

You should read "Witness" by Whittaker Chambers. The communist infiltration to the top levels of our government in the 30s and 40s will make you sick. Not only d FDR do NOTHING to root them out, all of his policies seem to be right out of their playbook.

The book is very long; I've made it to page 575 and am finally at the HUAC hearings part near the end. It is truly chilling hearing first-hand from a communist about how they are subverting the country. Sadly it has all come true over the past 80 years.

There is a big difference between saying this is nothing, and saying this information is not going to cause Obama to lose the election. Sure, keep looking and see what other evidence exists concerning Obama's past. It will be crucial information when the history of this era is written. But if it doesn't directly relate to the price of gas or the unemployment rate between now and November it won't effect the outcome of the election. That's my meme today.

It is not treason to be a closet Communist. Deplorable and un American, yes. Treasonous no. Now several hundred cases of fraud on the other hand is. But nobody in power wants to pursue it. Lets just concentrate on making sure he gets a better trainwreck of a re election than Jimmy Carter. At this point it is the faster way out of this Presidency.
