GE rejects Republicans’ climate change doubts
Financial Times ^ | 11 March 2012 | Pilita Clark

General Electric has brushed aside the doubts leading Republican presidential contenders have raised about climate science.

The US industrial and financial conglomerate said it had long seen climate change as a valid concern after an internal evaluation of the scientific case in 2005.

Observers have attributed the party’s shift since the last election to a range of factors, including the rise of the anti-regulatory Tea Party and fears about unemployment. Others suggest the change is due to fossil fuel interests using so-called super PACs – the new generation of political action committees empowered by a 2010 Supreme Court ruling allowing businesses and unions to spend much more on political campaigns than previously permitted.

The Republicans’ stance puts them at odds with politicians from many other countries, especially in Europe, home of some of the world’s most ambitious climate legislation.

Please consider if you are voting shares of GE Stock. This Immelt led corporation no longer brings good things to light nor does it care about the USA.

Observers have attributed the party’s shift since the last election to a range of factors... [and names some *political* factors]

There is just one factor in my book, and it's not very political at all:

The purpose of “climate science” is to enable the big-government/big-corporate criminal-complex to enslave the peasants.

It’s not hard to see GE’s motivation. Last I heard, they were heavily invested AGW and would loose a lot if the nation sees the truth.

Yep, it doesn’t care how corrupt a politician or company you are, it is going to do what it is going to do.

What does GE have to do with climate change, except getting its corporate welfare for “green” projects, and paying no taxes?

Suddenly big business are good guys, because big brother says so.

In America, the Left calls it public-private partnership.

Conservatives call it crony capitalism.

Other societies called it fascism. They got it right.

As well as many towers of windmills too. Not that he has an “in” or anything. Everytime I see imelt on some news show it makes me drive heave. Talk about a suck up. When he leaves, rest assured, it will be with billions in the trunk of his chevy dolt. That and a long extension cord.

Oh my, straining at gnats to swallow camels. How about the fact that AGW is one enormous, orchestrated fraud. This fact should have finally been driven home to even the intentionally obtuse by Climategate. Nothing but a systematic campaign of distortion and lies driven by easy grant money that was finally revelaed for what it is.

AGW has been exposed and the horse is out of the barn and way down the road. GE invested heavily in the scam and that investment ain’t coming back.

GE is in full-time spin mode, what with their new “feely-goody” commercials that are on every 30 minutes.
