Ecologists are increasingly finding it useful to think of parasites, such as ticks, as micro-predators and have been mining predator-prey theory for insights into parasite-host ecology. Parasites cannot live on their own. They must drain life-giving energy and meterials from their hosts. Unlike the two-way flow of mutually beneficial relationships, the benefits of a parasitic relationship flow in one direction only-from host to parasite. This means that many libtards are human parasites because they would be unable to survive without draining values from producers.
