AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, serving humanity simply by showing up, and hes not retiring until every American agrees with him, do NOT doubt him, with shrieks of joy at the mere mention of his name (thats Rush, for those in Rio Linda),the Mandarin of Talk Radio, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, all-concerned Maha-Rushie! Americas anchorman, truth detector, and doctor of democracy. A Real Man, a living legend, a way of life. Commander in Chief of U.S. Operation Chaos. Chief Waga-Waga El Rushbo of the El Conservo Tribe. Chief of the Patriotism Police. Leader of the Conservative Movement. A Weapon of Mass Instruction. El Rushbo (a little Spanish lingo, there). He is the man who is running America (you know it and I know it). He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to dothats host. Get ready to what you were born to dothats listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

I thought Mark Steyn was hosting today?
No Rush today!
You are correct.
hello IMPR and fellow tribal members.
Extraneous Wind sends ...
Mark said he would be hosting in a column he wrote over the weekend.
My bad. I didn’t listen on Friday as much as I would have liked. Work sometimes interferes with my 3 hours of Rush. :o) Thanks for the information though!
LOL - All I know is I hope whomever is hosting calls someone a slut. I rather enjoy the ensuing hand wringing.
Yes, Steyn the Newt killer is hosting today. I wonder if it has dawned on Steyn yet that if not Newt, who? And how will he spin either of them in a positive way?
The end game goes like this....Okay...No one who has objections to birth control, transvestite ops, killing babies has to provide insurance........BUT.....We ae opening "Secular" Planned Parenthood Offices in every school, in every hospital, in every Town, in every workplace...at government expense.
Perhaps the amazing Mr. Steyn will use the word slattern.
Oh, wait, no. Update: It wasnt a congressional hearing; the Democrats just got it up to look like one, like summer stock, with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid doing the show right here in the barn, and providing a cardboard set for the world premiere of Miss Fluke Goes to Washington, with full supporting cast led by Chuck Schumer strolling in through the French windows in tennis whites and drawling, Anyone for bull****?
Oh, and the young coed turns out to be 30, which is what less evolved cultures refer to as early middle age. Shes a couple of years younger than Mozart was at the time he croaked, but, if the Dems are to be believed, the plucky little Grade 24 schoolgirl has already made an even greater contribution to humanity. Shes had the courage to stand up in public and demand that someone else (and this is where one is obliged to tiptoe cautiously, lest offense is given to gallant defenders of the good name of American maidenhood such as the many prestigious soon-to-be-former sponsors of this column whove booked Bill Maher...from his column.
Rush said he’ll be at a charity golf outing.
Good afternoon, megaBiggirlDidHerNCAA’SMensB-BallBracketsdittos from Biggirl. PING!
BTW, you will like what I had picked for NCAA’s men’s team to take it all: KY.
Kentucky has a difficult bracket. Dook, UConn, UNLV, and Indiana. Should be interesting. All the brackets were tough, because there are so many really good teams out there. The matchups will be fun. I hope a lot of little schools advance again this year.
I thought the Big East got somewhat overlooked and the Big 10 got a lot of the hype. I think Syracuse is one of the toughest teams out there!
Come tournament time, everyone is a different team. (I was thrilled to see UofL win the Big East; and was glad UK lost yesterday. IMHO, they needed a loss. They are getting a little too arrogant.)
I do hope, though, that UK can do what very few Number 1 seeds have been able to do, because our Senior, Darius Miller, is a Kentucky boy.
That is one of the reasons why besides baseball, I love spring, March Madness. Not surprised that KY lost to Vandy, it could be a needed learning experence. Glad that Syracuse lost to Cincy, wish UConn had beat first in the Big East. Teams do become different when it is March Madness.
Just hope Obama keeps quiet in who he picks for March Madness and Final Four.
Maybe the reason this time around the Big East has been overlooked is because of 3 teams leaving to go to other confernances.
a link to a beautiful chttp://www.wildearth.tv/hwf-whiterock-02oastal eagle nest w/ sound....enjoy
Mark is a “Foreign mercenary in the Republican War on Women.”
Says Rush has suspended himself from the show today.
UConn is one of the toughest teams in the tournament year in and year out, and I loved seeing Syracuse lose to Cincy (I loathe the ‘Cuse)
That’s what makes March so fun. Any given night, a Goliath team can be slayed by a David school. :)
If Obumma picks Kentucky I’m going to scream. We’ll lose first round, no doubt. lol.
I’m not a Steyn feller.....he said on el Rushbo’s dime last month it ain’t Obama’s fault the BC is screwey and we should let the One up........bullshit !
I was hoping to see Memphis and Kentucky in the same bracket. Memphis is playing some fantastic bball right now. It would have been so satisfying for Memphis to beat Calipari.
James & Virginia’s eggs are scheduled to hatch between now and Friday. The daytime temps are supposed to be high 70’s and maybe hit 80 so the biologists are hoping the parents will not have to stay on the chicks the whole time to keep them warm, thus providing an early view of the chicks.
man alive is it windy at this nest........whew
Not a lot of Tiger love on FR yesterday. (Same ole, same ole)
Speaking of the “war on women’s health,” does anyone have the article that discussed the administration’s directive to delay mammogram’s from 40 to 50 years of age? I may have this completely confused, but I am sure that the actual story was pretty well rejected....The public needs a reminder.
I have 3 nests I watch ...also a bear cam where the baby is just toooooooo cute
I’m surprised, actually, that Memphis wasn’t. Seems the NCAA has a beef with Kentucky, not Calipari. ;) (Our first round game is either former Wildcat Sean Woods’ team or Western Kentucky U.)
I refuse to read freepers dissin Tiger...self richeous pricks,,,,,, Tiger did it to himself and manned up to the consequences......last week 3 graduates from Tiger’s learnin center were hired at NASA
On the other hand, it is amusing to see Santorum climbing steeply, Romney diving steeply, and Newt continuing to plod along at the same level in the RCP poll averages.
Did not know that. Thanks for the additional information.
Discusses it. Looking for the story about the recs, though. I remember it vividly.
I rodeo’d as a young un when blood wasn’t gettin to my brain.......an achilles tendon already havin had surgery hurts like the dickens !
I hope he picks UNC.
Be interesting to see how tomorrow plays out and to see what impact, if any, Saturday had on Tuesday’s primaries.
Santorum beat Romney 33-29 in the hard delegate totals on Saturday. At least, for awhile, we will not hear the droned, “Newt is ahead in hard delegates, so Santorum should drop out” mantra. Newt dropping out does not look all that great. Santorum dropping out clinches for Romney before Newt could even have a chance.
OK All, I found one:
Breast Exam Guidelines Test Obama Cost-Cutting (Update1)
“The new guidelines would reduce annual mammograms by more than half under a worst-case scenario, said Junaid Husain, a Boston-based analyst at Soleil Securities, in a note to investors Nov. 17. Senator Sam Brownback, a Republican of Kansas, said the task forces recommendations represent the start of an Obama administration plan to ration health care to pay for its overhaul.”
