Former Sen. Arlen Specter (Pa.) writes in a new book that President Obama ditched him in the 2010 election after he helped Obama win the biggest legislative victory of his term by passing healthcare reform.
Specter also claims that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) did not uphold his promise to grant him seniority accrued over 28 years of service in the Senate as a Republican.
Specter, who rocked Washingtons political establishment and made headlines around the country when he left the Republican Party to join Democrats in April of 2009, has kept quiet about these slights until now ...

No sympathy for this d-ckhead. Traitors should not expect his former enemies to keep to an agreement. Specter had an exemplary career as a moderate prior to his defection. He was used by the worst Senate Majority Leader the nation has ever experienced. Tough sh-t.

What’s the difference between Benedict Arnold and
Arlen Spector?
You can respect Benedict Arnold’s leg.

The thing about Spector is that the GOP let him in. He was originally a RAT who turned “Republican” as I recall. This is just like the BS of all the “Southern Democrats” switching parties now the Republicans are beginning to run the show. If it were my decision, I’d tell them to keep their RAT registration and go looking for someone who has more character.

This is about as ironic as it gets. Republicans backed the two faced slimeball despite his sleazy dishonest practices. Rick Santorum and others supported him against Pat Toomey when they shouldn't have.
Then Specter stabs them in the back and supports Obamacare. He betrays his loyal Republican supporters and becomes a Democrat. As soon as they get his vote, the Democrat renege on all their promises and Specter loses in the Democrat primary. A slimy, dishonest traitor gets what he deserves. This Judas didn't even get the 30 pieces of silver.

For many years to come, this will serve as an object lesson for any Republican legislator, at any level, who might consider changing his affiliation to Democrat.

That's the nature of your new "friends", Arlen.
