Is my opinion less worthy because i disagree? Funny, they want others to accept and agree with them and be nice to them for their beliefs and lifestyle, yet when others who dont believe in the gay lifestyle are shown nothing but hatred and are attacked. Where is the open mindedness? FREE SPEECH FREEDOM OF OPINION. They dont like what the owners of the company stands for? DONT EAT THERE. simple. Stop the hate and immature attacks. Chik-fil-a has never made any hate speech toward gays. Yet the gay community, who ALWAYS whine about nobody having an open mind and accepting their different lifestyle, attacks and demands special treatment from those who disagree with them. Where's the open mindedness in that?
As for the rest of us, give Chic-Fil-A the business every opportunity we have!
If Chick-Fil-A stays I see vandalism in the name of tolerance happening.
The fact this freshman can't see the utter absurdaty of saying "we are open and inclusive and thus demand the right to exclude anyone we disagree with" says a lot about the state of contemporary higher education.
I demand gays be removed from chick-fil-a.
You just don’t follow the reasoning.
As Secretary Clinton recently announced, gay rights are human rights, and human rights are gay rights, she writes. As such, I respectfully request that NYU remove Chick-fil-A from campus.
See? Hillary said so, that’s why. Duh!
When a new Chick Fil-A opened last year near our local fortress of higher knowledge, the campus was littered with flyers that screamed, “If you eat Chick-Fil-A, you’re eating anti-gay!!”
Maybe as a result, business is booming. Having read this article I will treat my wife to lunch there today.
OBTW, why is it that faggies and Muslims seem to have the same tolerance level for those who disagree with them?
And polygamy rights, and baby-killer rights, and animal rights, and bestiality rights, and pederasty rights, and serial killer rights...
Hey! Ax murderers are people too...they can't help themselves, they were born that way!
What movie is that from?
Typical statist/fascist libtards. They cannot see beyond the end of their nose (or genitals, as the case may be) regarding rights. Everything for them, nothing for others.
“Fascist” and “liberal” are becoming synonymous in my mind, because when there’s something they don’t like they seek to destroy it for everyone. No freedom of choice for those who disagree with them, only for themselves. I, as a conservative/libertarian, believe very strongly in the rights guaranteed in the 2nd Amendment - but I’d never force another to exercise those rights for themselves or prevent them from exercising their 1st Amendment rights regarding their expression of distaste for the 2nd Amendment. If I don’t like something in society, I simply refuse to partake - my own private boycott. They could boycott Chik Filet if they want, but instead display their fascist nature by trying to ban it because of the exercise of private property rights by that chain’s owners.
This is just like their attempt to drive Limbaugh off the air - fascist, and completely opposed to the ideas regarding freedom of speech and freedom of association that we as a society have revered for over 200 years.
I am utterly fed up with the repeated attempts of the libtards, and particularly the homosexual lobby, to jam their point of view down our throats. They want to have relations with each other - fine (assuming that we’re dealing with consenting adults), that’s not my business. In fact, I REALLY DON’T WANT TO KNOW ABOUT IT. But stop bombarding me with your ideology and stop trying to tear down everything you don’t like. In short, leave me (and everyone else) alone!
Sorry I can't join you, as I detest chicken. I know it's down right unAmerican but it's a fact.
Report and Observe.
Never seen it myself, but had that scene recounted to me soooo many times...
I can answer that, but I'll lead you to it as well.
Q: Just WHO is it that they "disagree with" [hate]?
A: Christians and Jews - ie, the one true God's people.
Eph 6:12
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
Duke University is “open and inclusive”. After all, they put up with a conservative basketball coach.... well, as long as he’s winning anyway.
LOL!, I asked a liberal and huge Dookie about that. He sheepishly agreed that they do harbor a little animosity toward Coach K for being a conservative but they can overlook it as long as the team keeps winning. He laughed and said, “well we do have our priorities!”
Much like child rape can be overlooked if the coach is a winner.
From what I understand, the “group” that the sandwiches are being donated to are a “pro-traditional marriage” group,
and are NOT an “anti-homosexual group”,
unless the left wants to admit that being pro-homo is being anti-traditional family.
“The homo crowd needs to be told “no” once in a while ...”
IMO, the homosexual lobby needs to be met with the same force they dish out, once in a while is not enough to stop the their advance. The response to this request needs to be as vocal and insistent for keeping Chic- Fil- A on campus bu conservatives on campus.
Conservatives must retrain ourselves and train our children to politely and firmly state our positions with points and counter points. We do not have to nor should we stoop to their behavior or language, but we must not cede a clear field for the ultimate liberal progressive goals.
I have been aware of the struggle, but the last month has make me realize that I can no longer remain silent. We are in a war for our values, faith, and country.
when I was in school they tried to get Burger Chef removed from campus for being “tools of capitalism”.
The more things change, the more they stay the same.
