Based on Mitt Romney's pandering tactics in the deep South, it's surprising that Matt Romney, who is in Hawaii today as that state also holds its GOP primary, has yet to declare himself an "unofficial Hawaiian" and announce a newfound love of spam. But maybe because pandering as a Republican in Hawaii a deep blue state that some people claim is President Obama's birthplace requires you to really elevate your pander game:
"I'm not here to talk about President Obama. I think he is great. I'm here to talk about my dad and what he would bring to the country," said Matt Romney.

This tells me that Mitt has no intention of winning....just like McCain had no intention of winning. Mitt could easily shut his son’s mouth, but chose not to.
My rule of thumb:
Families have similar values.
A politician may claim whatever values he wants, but look to the family to find out what they really believe in. Reagan’s kids disagreed with him, but also had strained relationships, so you can guess that they disagreed politically. But when you see Republicans with adoring kids with left-wing values, that’s your warning sign that that politician really is a fake Republican.
This is the greasy consultants talking - Don’t say anything negative about Obama, Americans like Obama, it’s good strategy to trash your fellow republicans but don’t lay a glove on Barry.
The NRA think's he's pretty great.
THIS IS HUGE: Hawaii “...a deep blue state that some people claim is President Obama’s birthplace”. This is a remarkable statement coming from NY magazine.
Is Obama about to claim a new birthplace, or did they mean to say “that some people claim is not Obama’s birthplace”. To state it as they did (”some people”) would indicate most people don’t believe Hawaii is his birthplace.
Next thing we know, they will be calling us stupid for not believing he was born in Kenya all along.
Backstabber at work:
"Yall!!!! Thank me!
Put this thing on the roof of my wifes second Cadillac ."
I bet he even told ‘em he loves pineapples and the pineapple trees are just the right size.
Mattens probably gets his opinion of Obama from Mittens.
It’s gotta be the underwear man.
You're correct about both. I was really surprised to see so many folks on that thread call the mockery "harmless fun" or even "a compliment."
Is the link get us to the entire article??
Seems like the media set us up to view one sentence of a more than 15 second interview!
“I’m not here to talk about President Obama. I think he is great. I’m here to talk about my dad and what he would bring to the country,” said Matt Romney.
And this is WHY Romney will never win. He’s like John McCain all over again!
This guy is 40 years old?
