Dear Concerned American:
The Obama bureaucracy is out of control, and I need your help to stop it.
The Congressional Review Act (CRA) allows Congress to overturn outrageous regulations like the bureaucratic power grabs rammed through the Obama Labor Board.
S.J. Res. 36 is a Joint Resolution of Disapproval that would prevent implementation of the NLRB's "ambush" election rules.
You see, this proposal would diminish employees' ability to make a fully informed decision by reducing time in which the process occurs from the current average of 38 days to as little as one week.
Worse, allowing the new rules will likely result in additional harassment and intimidation for hundreds of thousands of American workers because they leave the door open for future rule changes that would grant union bosses the right to workers' personal information -- forcing employers to hand over employees' names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses and work shifts.
The Obama Labor Board has gone far beyond its authority in serving Big Labor's agenda. Congress must stop the runaway NLRB and its assaults on workers and businesses in this country.
Please, sign the petition below urging your Senators to support S.J. Res. 36.
Sincerely,
Mark Mix
I’m not seeing this getting to Obama let alone that ass signing this so basically it means nothing.
Besides, the gutless, do nothing, obama butt licking republicans running the House of Representatives would and will do nothing other than, as they have since January 2011, lick obama’s butt.
Crude, but deadly ACCURATE!!
Why are the regulations “outrageous”?
They would BE outrageous IF Congress had not enacted the enabling legislation in the first place, OR if Congress had repealed the unconstitutional enabling laws but the regulations continued to be declared.
But the EPA, and the NLRB, and the Departments of Education and Energy and all the rest are ENTIRELY the fault of Congress, and their continuance beyond January 3, 2011 is ENTIRELY the fault of the Republican House.
This scam of Members of Congress going home to whine about the big bad regulators is way too old. If Congress wanted it to end, it would end tomorrow.
