Israel's ambassador to the United Nations, Ron Prosor, on Tuesday presented a letter of complaint to the UN Security Council and to the organization's Secretary General, Ban Ki-moon, over the Councils silence in the face of the continued rocket attacks on southern Israel.
250 missiles since Friday, a rocket every 20 minutes, and zero response from the Security Council, Prosor wrote in the letter, reminding Ban that during your visit to Israel you met with children from the south and saw the situation for yourself. Yesterday you told the members of the Council that the firing of rockets at Israel's civilian population should stop immediately and that it is unacceptable. But the Council members are still silent.
Prosors letter came after four days of hostilities during which terror groups fired more than 200 rockets at Israeli civilians, while the IAF responded by targeting the cells firing the rockets killing 27 Gazans, of whom 25 were terrorists.
The IDF laid the blame for civilian casualties at the door of the terror gangs, noting they were firing rockets from deep within densely populated civilian areas and using civilians as human shields.
Prosor warned in his letter that It is enough that one of the missiles hits the wrong place and Israels response will be completely different.
He added, Millions of citizens are paralyzed and there is no response. 200 thousand children are not going to school and there is no response. Something in this equation is not right.

You really never know when the other shoe is going to fall, Goodman said during the program. It could be the most gorgeous day and youll be doing whatever it is youre doing and all of a sudden, out of the clear blue sky, you get that siren. -interview with Miriam Goodman, a Montreal native who now lives near Beer Sheva My daughters greatest fear, Goodman added, is that her children will be playing outside when the siren sounds and she wont know where they are. That is her absolute greatest fear.
Goodman wrote Netanyahu in her letter, We have had enough lip service from you The buck stops at your desk.
She said during the program, I have a friend who told me just today that shes afraid to go take a shower. Shes worried about what happens if the siren goes off while shes in the shower? There are people who are just terrified and thats not the way to live.
Goodman added that the prime ministers job is to protect the citizens of the country, and hes got to put his foot down.
I really believe that the government is afraid of bad publicity, she said. Thats why nothing is being done. Im sure that if we would send in the ground troops and really clean up Gaza, the whole world would condemn us, and the government doesnt want to face that.
Goodman called on the Israeli government to take back Gaza and re-settle it. SNIP

What Israel needs is counter battery radar to plot the reverse azimuth on the incoming and put counter-battery fire on these scum bags. Screw the collateral damage — the Jews are already vilified by the MSM, UN, and most of the world. Tell the Palis that the age of appeasement is over: screw with the bull and you're gonna get the horns. Only this time, the Palis get it HARD with air strikes, artillery, and MLRS cluster munitions. Flatten these psychos.
Don’t expect the UN to change.....BUT....!
I was quite encouraged to see Israel take a strong stance last weekend.
They used the Iron Dome, stopping most of the rockets.
They used their Air Force to take out the sources of the rocket fire.
They whacked 2 top terror leaders.
