I have committed myself - I won’t vote for Mitt if he is “chosen” as the GOP candidate. I held my nose in 2008, only because Sarah was on the ticket. Won’t do that again. Romney is not enough better than Obama in the “real world”... our best hope if Romney is the candidate is to focus on majorities in Congress.

Santorum has a higher lifetime ACU Rating than Fred Thompson, and better lifetime 2nd Amendment Ratings from both the NRA and GOA than Newt....

America has become too stupid for Gingrich. It will take ten generations just to climb back to the level it once was before the democrat education system ruined the country.

Your ignorance about Gingrich and Fannie Mae is a good example.

Newt needs to educate the country in 60 days!

Time to endorse Rick or get left behind in SC and GA.

He’s going to have to fight to be heard...we know this.

..the machine to take Newt out, from all directions, has been relentless....for that Santorum has had a free ride....Oh how I hate Romney and the elites! Not to mention the media’s quest to throw this race to Santorum ..since Romney’s failed so to clinch it the establishment moved on to Rick..and you can bet Obama loves it.

If you don’t see Romney as better than Obama then you’re simply not paying attention.

Rick is a better candidate then Newt. It’s not the media, it’s just how it is.

Why don’t you endorse Rick instead of ABO?

Not exactly inspired by him are you?

And how come this victory thread in Breaking News only has a little over one hundred posts to it instead of a couple thousand?

Then we have a brokered convention which means we lose.

Do you want to throw in the towel to Obama?

We simply can’t beat Obama with 2 months.

I’m undecided as to who can do the best against Obama.

But it’s pretty clear, the man to beat Obama is not Newt Gingrich.

Nice try but everyone knows better...there is no comparison...put their history and accomplishments for conservativism side by side and Rick comes out wanting in so many respects.

Total free-ride. Can you imagine the MSM reaction if Newt said telepromter use by candidates should be illegal?

If accomplishments were the measure then I would agree.

But America as a whole does not like Newt.

It’s painfully obvious due to his failures in the south tonight.

I don't believe Santorum-Palin is out of the question. My dream ticket!

With a GOP ticket like this I think the crowds at campaign stops would dwarf anything our Dear Leader will have. In '08 conservatives were not excited about McCain until Palin came on board. Even then, the excitement was for her, not him. Having two real conservatives, not to mention solid Christians, taking on Obummer would be amazing. Santorum already polls well with women; with Sarah on his team those numbers would go through the roof.

Look, we have one last go of this and we need the better of the candidates who has the tools to take out Obama and clean out the trash in Washington, and knows how to use them as well as the experience of moving congress to act, not to mention impliment plans once their feet hit the ground...Santorum doesn’t have that...he’s a wannabee candidate whose history proves he comes up wanting.

Ricks riding a wave he did not earn, rather one that was created for him by the establishment, the media, and the obama/Romney machines....

I haave no problem going to convention...there’s no way anyone can call how that will go despite those saying the GOP controls the rules.....rules are a guideline only in politics and the candidates teams and lawyers know full well how to manipulate them without breaking them....

Just this Primary alone shos these are not normal politics and neither will the convention be. I have every confidence the best man will win there....and it won’t be Jeb Bush or Romney. Do not underestimate Newt and the game he knows to play...in his time at his choosing.

So no...there is no throwing in the towel to Obama....he’s not in this Primary.

I sure hope you’re right. I personally agree with Newt more than I do with Santorum.

I just fear he’s the weakest candidate to face Obama head to head. As I’ve said in prior threads, I’d vote for Hillary if it meant Obama was out of our country’s most powerful office.

Boy do I hope we can remove this tumor in the WH.
