Sounds like the flu. Go to the doctor and get an anti- viral shot. If given in the first 24 hours, it can effectively, reduce the symptoms and duration of the flu. It’s definitely worth the effort.

This morning, Quinn got a caller who challenged his statement that union contracts are often tied to the minimum wage.
Caller wanted Quinn to come up with an actual union contract that had such a clause in it.
Do you know if this is common practice?

My guess would be that it would depend on the union. Maybe the SEIU contracts would be tied to minimum wage, but I can’t imagine that trade unions have much of a relationship to minimum wage.
Allergies kicking-in due to early Spring? Pollen’s flying with all the ornamental cherries/plums/pears and maples (yes, they bloom) blooming here in the east.
Mrs S has never seen any union contract tied to minimum wage. Union wages are so much higher, they would never do that.
That just makes me ill.

I think Quinn’s contention is that there are contract clauses that state that the union wages have to be so much above the minimum wage, and when the minimum wage goes up, the union wage would increase proportionally and automatically.
If this isn’t correct, Quinn should probably stop saying it, as it is a major assertion of his.

I emailed her this comment and she still says “NO”, Sorry she din’t explain any further. And she deals with the SEIU and other big unions on a daily basis.
