Don’t step on feet on your way up as as you may have to kiss them on your way down. Rush is wrong on this.

Nope, Rush is 100% correct on this. Rush is not the one who stepped on their feet on the way up. Rush is already up and I doubt he’s going to ever have to kiss anybody’s feet, other than his wife.

Rush could quit anytime he wanted to.

On the way up? Rush is already at the top. It's the advertisers who chose poorly, as they betrayed the best ally they had.

Rush could walk away from broadcasting today, and would live out the rest of his life as a very, very wealthy person. He's already off the top of the ladder.

You do realize that he has a $400,000,000 contract? He is not on his way to the top, he is the top. If you were an actual listener of his, you would understand this by now.

Rush is not the product of the mainstream media, therefore they have no power over him.

If they build you up, they can tear you down.

Rush has a very long waiting list of advertisers. A friend has been trying for years to get an ad on his show.

I presume that your multi-million dollar business is doing just fine, following your process.

If so, great for you, but I suspect that Rush will do just fine with his process.

Rush is right 99% of the time and this is no exception.

There are more advertisers out there that will be glad to be on Rush.

If they do the thing with Rush where he personally advertises for them, it’s amazing how much business is generated.

They dropped him to cater to a liberal touchy feely base that mostly doesn’t buy anything, preferring it be given to them.

The irritating thing is that he essentially ‘made’ these companies.

I would never forgive them and if any foot kissing occurs, it will be companies who see their sales drop trying to kiss Rush’s foot.

“Don’t step on feet on your way up as you may have to kiss them on your way down.” (to quote your statement)

Uh . . your statement above goes for all those liberal butt kissing sponsors as well. They went off half cocked. They were wrong on this. - Rush has got to give his attention to those sponsors that appreciate him and don’t go off half cocked at every liberal threat. Too unstable.

I disagree completely. Rush has hundreds of advertisers who did not “bail” on him. And as he has allowed those advertisers who did bail to twist in the wind, he sends a message to the mass of advertisers who remain:

“My show is controversial. You understood it when you contracted to advertise on my show, so if you bail out because of a controversy be prepared to never come back.”

There are hundreds of businesses who currently contract with Limbaugh who are breathing a sigh of relief that they kept cooler heads and used better judgment.

If Rush buckles now the message will be the you can leave or come back whenever a stressful moment hits. That’s not “smart” business for Limbaugh.

He’s handling this situation perfectly.

I’m in Houston.

What station broadcasts your number one show?

Oh wait n00bie, never mind you don’t even have a top million show.

You could simply not be much more wrong about Rush and his listeners.

Just to rub it in I have two cases of his Two if by Tea showing up at my home today. It sure as hell ain’t Snapple!
