Bill Maher insults Alabama and Mississippi voters
News Busters ^ | Mar 14th, 2012 | Noel Sheppard

HBO's Bill Maher on Tuesday took a disgusting cheap shot at Alabama and Mississippi voters.

With all eyes on Republican primaries in those states, Maher sent a message via Twitter saying, "Toothless Tuesday too tight to tally!"

This came just days after he and his Real Time panel mocked poor people in Mississippi.

Their behavior was even too offensive for Roseanne Barr who tweeted Tuesday, "I was really disheartened to see how Pelosi's daughter& Bill Maher portrayed southern americans-classism at its best by H'wood elitists."

Barr followed this up with, "southern folk are not all toothless idiots or racists, unlike what bill maher &pelosi's daughter want us to think."

You know what they say - when you've lost Roseanne Barr...

Readers are reminded that this is the same man that gave $1 million to Barack Obama's Super PAC.

Of course Obama is fine with taking a million dollars from Maher, what a hypocrite.

Insult a skank and it’s a national scandal. Insult 2 entire states and it goes ignored. Mississippi and Alabama ought to where the Little Man Maher’s antipathy like a badge of honor. The boy is Satanic.

I am a college football fan and the co-eds at the SEC schools in those two states sure are not “toothless”. I think U of Miss was voted as having the hottest co-eds in the USA.

Obviously Maher has never looked in a mirror. He’s about the ugliest creature crawling on the face of the earth. Both inside and out.

Bill Maher and the crowd that sneers as Mississippi ought to get their facts right. A visit to Missisippi: Believe It! reveals the astonishing reality about the Magnolia State.

Here's just one fact about this pro-God, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-military state populated by some of the finest people you'll find anywhere in America:

If you listen to “Hollywood,” Mississippi should be the last place to turn for learning anything about medicine. They couldn’t be more wrong. When it comes to modern medicine, Mississippi wrote the book. Literally. While at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, Mississippian Dr. Arthur Guyton wrote the Textbook of Medical Physiology, used by medical students around the world since 1956.

The best-selling physiology book ever published, this textbook may very well be the best-selling medical textbook of any kind. UMC physiologist, Dr. John Hall, assisted Dr. Guyton with the ninth and tenth editions of the textbook. Upon Dr. Guyton’s death in 2003, Dr. Hall took over the textbook, thus continuing to help educate the finest future physicians in the world ... through a book written right here in Mississippi. Mississippi. You could say we’re a textbook case for advancing modern medicine.

And there are many more truths on that site to counter the sneering liberal lies about Mississippi.

It’s OK...
Bill Maher is a DEMOCRAT, and this just helps to reinforce the media’s “SOUTHERN REPUBLICANS ARE STOOPID!” meme, so it’s all good.

Maher is nothing but a George Carlin starter kit, and at least Carlin was funny.

Southerners are, for the most part, pretty secure in their identity and in most cases, downright proud of it.
We really don’t need Madison Ave or Hollywood approval to be free-thinking.
Maher would have a challenge finding a crowd to hang with down here that is suitable crass and arrogant for his tastes.
And I can think of several people that would love to take him on a “fishin’ trip”.

I have an idea for a screen play. It starts with Bill Maher driving down in the deep South late at night and his car quits. He starts walking toward a lighted house. He eventually gets to the door and knocks for some help as his cell phone has no signal. Now the hilarity ensues. They invite him in and they immediately recognize him and then they commence to reenact every disgusting scene out of “Deliverance” they can until Maher dies from anal rape. The End.

Insult a skank and it’s a national scandal. Insult 2 entire states and it goes ignored.

There's the old saying that one death is a tragedy. A million deaths is a statistic. Reagan once gave a speech about an incredible amount of money he saved when he was governor of California. The response was silence and stares. He gave another speech about saving a very small amount of money and received cheers and applause. The lesson he learned was that people can relate to the smaller amount.

I’m sure this slob doesn’t even have a mirror in his house and if he does... he must have it covered or he ducks down as he passes it.
We have been in TN and MS many, many times and this was a total insult to the good people who live there. maher is a slime with no soul. He is pure evil. His face pictures everything he is and has inside of him. nothing but hatred, jealousy, anger, bitterness and God knows what all else. All I know is he needs professional help and SOON!

Actually, a better screenplay would be that my peeps here in Alabama wouldn’t know who he is, (probably true) fix his car, feed him a good country meal, and send him on his way.

Your post was the same stereotype that Maher used. Obviously you are not from the deep south.
