Bill Maher insults Alabama and Mississippi voters

HBO's Bill Maher on Tuesday took a disgusting cheap shot at Alabama and Mississippi voters.

With all eyes on Republican primaries in those states, Maher sent a message via Twitter saying, "Toothless Tuesday too tight to tally!"

This came just days after he and his Real Time panel mocked poor people in Mississippi.

Their behavior was even too offensive for Roseanne Barr who tweeted Tuesday, "I was really disheartened to see how Pelosi's daughter& Bill Maher portrayed southern americans-classism at its best by H'wood elitists."

Barr followed this up with, "southern folk are not all toothless idiots or racists, unlike what bill maher &pelosi's daughter want us to think."

You know what they say - when you've lost Roseanne Barr...

of course they make fun of us—they’re jealous! We have the best beaches, the best food, the best college football teams, the best accents, we have a rich heritage of Spanish, French, English, and African ancestry; we have a rich heritage of churches that are STILL active and growing (they do call us the Bible Belt, and I am VERY proud of that!); we have excellent marksmen & women who can easily cling to our guns while we can just as easily recite verses from the Bible. I have an idea for a screen play. It starts with Bill Maher driving down in the deep South late at night and his car quits. He starts walking toward a lighted house. He eventually gets to the door and knocks for some help as his cell phone has no signal. Now the hilarity ensues. They invite him in and they immediately recognize him and then they commence to reenact every disgusting scene out of “Deliverance” they can until Maher dies from anal rape. The End.

Alternately, after inviting him in to the house, the courteous, kind Southern folks treat him with the authentic hospitality known well in that region. While waiting for a wrecker to get his car, they share the Gospel of Jesus Christ as they dine on the satisfying comfort food fare famed in Dixie.

Bill Maher, so overcome by the genuine generosity and love of people he thought to be his "toothless" enemies, repents and is baptized for the remission of sins by a Mississippi preacher. He leaves his atheistic liberal lifestyle behind and becomes a new champion for Christian Conservatism.

That's the real Mississippi and the power of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

I’m from Alabama and I grew up around several simple dirt farmers that displayed far more wisdom than Maher has ever exuded.
