Hello Everyone,

By now you've probably heard about the huge controversy going on over the Administration's "HHS" Mandate.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human services "HHS" is now mandating that all employers provide free contraceptives, sterilization and abortion-inducing drugs through their health plans. The HHS provided a "religious exemption" so narrow that it would exclude Catholic hospitals, universities and charities, forcing these institutions to act in direct opposition to Catholic teaching through the health care plans they provide. That's right, the Administration will now decide what "counts" as a religious institution in this country. In fact, not even Jesus and his Apostles would have qualified under the Administration's definition of a religious group.

Religious leaders of many faiths all across the country have joined all 181 Catholic bishops in denouncing the HHS Mandate as an assault on religious liberty and freedom of conscience. And now it's time for direct, grassroots activism - right here in Miami! People in our city are joining with others all over the country in staging a nationwide rally to take place coast to coast on March 23 at Noon.

Over 100 cities and towns have signed on to join the nationwide Rally for Religious Freedom - including Miami!! Your are invited to take part in this historic event.

"The HHS provided a "religious exemption" so narrow that it would exclude Catholic hospitals, universities and charities, forcing these institutions to act in direct opposition to Catholic teaching through the health care plans they provide."

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.

Notice how there isn't anything mentioned about Church. It is merely a clause that is meant to keep government from doing exactly what the Obama Administration is doing, which is prohibiting the free exercise of religion by denying institutions the right to exercise religious values in business. This kind of obscene meddling shouldn't exist in a free society, and when it does, a free society won't exist for long. This government has set itself up as superior to God in the arbitration of moral values and decisions. Welcome to the tyranny of democratic socialism.
