Most probably don’t realize that Newt is also Catholic.

Yeah, but Carter would have lost anyway. Not saying I wouldn’t prefer to have another Reaganesque candidate this time around. Obama is still going to lose.

Not so sure about that, in fact, I think what ultimately sealed Carter’s fate, was the icy relationship he had with The Swimmer during the campaign, it turned even a lot of liberal Democrats against Carter. It was the one good thing The Swimmer did during his life, was taking Carter down with him.

“I still think whoever the RNC backs for the nominee; that person will have a huge burden to destroy Obama’s ideas one to one- and that is what we need to destroy his policies/ not to ridicule him or to be afraid to argue those ideas in depth- as Romney says he will not do- which that in itself will be a problem.”

I agree it’s a huge problem - and so far, I’ve only heard Santorum speak in generalities, not in detail, on the important issues. Only Newt has thought-out, planned in- depth, detailed solutions to each issue. Confidently laying out details inspires trust - and these little, short sound-byte debates haven’t allowed Newt the opportunity to do that like his speeches do. People who have actually heard him speak are won over.

Make no mistake, many Americans have so been indoctrinated into Marxist values that they will vote for Obama every chance.

These don’t constitute a majority yet (I hope), but then the soft-minded will be deluged with a billions dollar campaign blitz with all network news beatifying Obama and demonizing his opponent. How many will be able to reach a conclusion based upon evidence and argument, rather than succumbing to the mind-numbing ever present Marxist propaganda machine?

Finally, Eric Holder, the Dem political machine, the black militants, Islamic militants, etc. will conspire in the most magnificent display of voter fraud ever conceived. I believe a 10 point margin will be necessary merely to overcome the fraud.

The only reason I still hope for salvation is that I believe the prayers of the faithful may clear men’s judgement and expose the wicked. Otherwise I would say we are facing an administrative coup and the end of the Republic.

MORAL: Pray over this election like your lives depend on it. They do, after all.

ahead of Santorum with 57 percent of support to Santorum's 29 percent

ROFL!!!

OK.. I get that Obama is very likely going to win in November, but... oh, please... a 28-point spread??

“All I can say is, when Newt gives his speech at the GOP Convention, there are going to be a lot of delegates with buyers’ remorse.”

Yes, but the tragic thing is that we who knew all along, and the country, will suffer as a result. Just like those of us who knew BHO for what he was, did in ‘08.

Breaks my heart.

Right again, I’m sure. He doesn’t wear it as a badge.

Perhaps PEW should check with some other polls, including Rasmussen to calibrate their sampling methods.

Politics is an art, not a science. The Obamanites have perfected this art. They are well aware that, as in war, demoralization of your enemy is often a more effective tool than a real weapon. And telling mass lies has an real impact if they are repeated constantly.

I’m sure Mr. Obama and his evil accolytes in the leftist PACS have more than one polling service in their back pockets as well as the mainstream media, union leadership, the “educational” establishment and assordid other special interests.

They are pulling out the stops to demoralize the opposition, try to destroy the credibility of any potential candidates and juice up their parasitic base long before the actual fighting starts and a candidate is finally selected by the GOP.

Yahoo reported nothing on the CBS/NYT or the ABC/WAPO polls. And then, presto, Pew and Reuters put out totally bogus samples and Yahoo pushes it.

Yahoo is one of the most corrupt and dangerous media sources.

Millions of people who are apolitical use Yahoo every day to get email check weather etc. And they are pushed all liberal propaganda as headlines, and that’s all they read.

Whereas Politico etc only caters to lefty politicos.
