Need address/footage of Pete Stark's mansion
3/14/2012 | Guy Smith

Posted on 03/14/2012 3:10:30 PM PDT by guyshomenet

Pete Stark, who misrepresents a district out here, has a home (a minor mansion so I am told) in Maryland, which he tried to claim as his primary residence for taxes. See http://articles.latimes.com/2009/mar/20/nation/na-stark20.

I intend to help unseat Stark, but I need some help from Maryland locals. I need footage of his mansion (3,600-square-foot, on 6.35 acres with an assessed value of about $1.6 million … should be easy to find) and it’s address. The footage goes into a video that will be released prior to the first campaign debates here.

Google away!

Pete Stark is such an over-the-top old blowhard, he makes our side look good every time he gets near a microphone.

He faces 3 other rats in the “primary” including the State Senate Majority Leader. No Republicans are running.

I always assumed Raving Stark’s second home was one that had padded walls in the rooms...

Funny, that. I tried Bing and Google, but turned up nothing.

The closest I could get was an article showing a google earth picture of the neighborhood.

http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/news/local/politics/2009/03/california_congressman_gets_ma.html

He seems to have scrubbed all photos of his house from the web, although maybe someone else can find something.

So does Democrat Pete Stark represent California or Maryland?
The 77-year-old Stark has saved himself nearly $3,900 in state and county taxes by claiming the six-acre waterfront estate as his principal residence, according to an investigation by Bloomberg News. Maryland law allows the tax break only to those residences used "for the legal purposes of voting, obtaining a driver's license, and filing income tax returns."

Pete Stark on his Maryland home tax break
“If I owned a house in California, there’s no way I could’ve taken the principal residence deduction here” in Maryland, Stark said. “But my guess is we spend two-thirds of the time here, my kids go to school here in Maryland. By any definition of where I spend most of the time, it would be in the Washington, DC area – this is where I work.”

Rep. Pete Stark, D-Md.
There is an upside to being represented by the gentleman from Maryland. The next time Stark unleashes one of his notorious tirades (such as suggesting that troops were being sent to Iraq to "get their heads blown off for the president's amusement," as he did in 2007) or ends up on Esquire Magazine's list of 10 worst legislators on Capitol Hill (as he did in 1988) ... residents in Alameda, Castro Valley and other parts of the East Bay district can blame their erstwhile homeboy's bad manners on his East Coast address.

Please throw this trash out of my state and take DC with him. I'm tired of being infested by the Libtard thoughts and actions of the DC crowd that ruined our state.

Anne Arundel. Not surprised. It’s nice out there - better than the Potomac (where lots of “undesirables” can be, of course, near the DC area). Also because the conservative school district is safer and better.

But I have to ask - this guy is 77? How old are his “kids” who “go to school”? How old are his parents-in-law whose address he uses? Geesh.

Here’s your address:

“Forney H”? How did he get “Pete”?

By the Google map it looks as if he is down on the actual peninsula. If my son was in day care today I’d be tempted to drive down and find it. Too bad I don’t have a boat - probably the better way to view it.
