Romney is not my choice for nominee, and I think he is a weak candidate, but he’s at least 50/50 to beat Obama come the fall.* Goldwater like losses? No way in bleep. Obama may win enough swing states to prevail, but the final EV numbers will look a heck of a lot more like 2004 than 1964.

*Assuming he picks a decent running mate and mounts a better-than-mccain2008-campaign.

Not a chance, Romney would lose WORSE than Goldwater because of his Progressive Liberal record as Governor.

2. Implemented and Supported Gay Marriage as Governor
3. Supported Abortion as Governor
4. Supported the Brady Bill
5. Implemented an "Assault" Weapons Ban at the state-level AFTER the Federal AWB was allowed to elapse.
6. Believes in Global Warming.
7. Supported a state-level Cap-N-Trade system as Governor.
8. Supported TARP.
9. Supported Amnesty for Illegal Aliens (Pathway to Citizenship).
10. Implemented a SOCIALISTIC HealthCare Insurance model in MA that included $50 Abortions and an Individual Mandate.
