Willing to Accept Santorum-Gingrich Ticket-Just Keep Newt's brain working for America
March 15, 2012 | Ralph Mitchell

It is hard to argue against Newt Gingrich's brainpower, skills, experience, ideas, & sincere desire to put America back in its rightful place as the leader of the free world both technologically and culturally. It would be ashame to exclude Newt Gingrich from the next administration that takes office, January 2013. In that vein, we conservatives should be willing to accept a Santorum-Gingrich or Gingrich-Santorum Ticket, denying Romney the nomination, in order to truly fix America with Conservative Ideas and Actions. This requires that both Santorum and Gingrich stay in the GOP race until the convention. Any takers?

I agree 110%!!!!!! I’m glad Newt is staying in. He knows we can’t have Mittens.

I would be willing to entertain Gingrich-Santorum. Then Rick can run the next round, he’s still young enough.

Santorum would not be willing to accept Newt. Everyone would know who was really the brains behind the outfit.

Newt VP? A Newt debate against Biden is even more entertaining than against THE ONE. It should be Pay-Per-View...

I’d be willing to go along with that.

I prefer Gingrich-Santorum. But if it goes the other way then so be it. Anything to get rid of that racist bigot statist in the WH.

Even one term Newt and out. This is really a critical juncture. Give Santorum some saddle time.

I’d vote for either of those S/G - G/S tickets.

I could support G-S or S-G, but we must not forget that including Santorum at any level will inevitably make this election about personal beliefs rather than ideas. The attacks on Palin were bad enough in 2008, but the press has already had several years to gather “dirt” on Santorum and has already guaranteed that social liberals of both parties will hate his guts. That’s why we need Newt at the top of the ticket: only he is capable of articulating a consistent message and controlling it equally consistently.

Newt is staying in so hopefully he can have some bartering power at the convention. Only way I could ever even fanthom getting behind RS is if he and Newt join forces

I decided weeks ago that Santorum / Gingrich ticket would be a dynamite pair.

I cannot stand Romney & I won’t vote for Mitt—not in any way, shape or form.

You must vote for Mitt if he’s the nominee. Also, will Noot accept a VP?? I kind of doubt it.

Works for me! It’s a good combo of fidelity to the Constitution and strong values. But I’d prefer Newt at the top, because I’d LOVE to see him debate Obama.

That would be fun to watch. It would probably be the biggest blowout since the USC Trojans beat the Pomona Sage Hens 80-0 in 1925.

That's like watching the Harlem Globetrotters play the Washington Wizards.

Newt knows dems are liars and cheaters ... most of our people don’t understand liberal sociopaths - sociopaths running groups of useful idiots. Newt can smell them...

Correct.

The two choices we have, now that Santorum cannot reasonably garner enough votes to win the nomination, is either A) for both Newt and Santorum to stay in and split the remaining delegates, or B) for one of them to drop out and thus assure Romney will have 1144 delegates by convention time.
