Would you vote for Romney?

I have seen a lot of FReepers state that they would NEVER cast a vote for Romney. That is my gut reaction as well. Mitt is on record saying that I will vote for him eventually. His arrogance makes me want to prove him wrong and write in a candidate. But I fear that will lead to 4 more years of Obama. Until I stare at the ballot in November, I don't know for sure what I will do. If it is a choice between Obama and Romney, what will you do?

I dunno, if it makes any opposition to the Obama MO moot and not discussed in Congress, why?

I sometimes would prefer to garrot up an opposition than sit around with RINOs doing nothing like with ANWAR.

Yes, I’m not so ornery that I’d not vote for Romney if he was the nominee. There’s no “cut off my nose to spite my face” going on here.

In my case it depends on how the House and Senate go. If it looks like the Dems will lose the Senate I feel pretty good about casting a writein or third party vote for president.

If Obama is reelected, I will take no blame. I blame the Republican establishment for not fielding a candidate I can vote for.

Romney offers the same things as Obama, just not as much of it. How is that a winning strategy?

Living in MA, I’ll vote for Romney and Scott Brown. Romney and Brown are only 50% Republicans, but that’s better than 100% leftists like Obama and Elizabeth Warren.

I’m still debating whether to make political contributions.

No, There is not enough difference between Romney and Obama.

If we are going to have a President that is pro socialist medicine, pro special gay rights, pro changing the definition of marriage to include sodomy, pro abortion, anti-gun and big government, then let that President be a Democrat, not a democrat masquerading as a Republican.

I wont vote for either. If I can get motivated I’ll vote for real conservatives down in other races but most likely I’ll sit home and drink...

And you want to take a chance that the Congress can stop him? Better think again! He will just do what he wants without Congressional approval. By the time the Republicans find enough guts to try to stop him, it will be way too late. I like to gamble, but not with our country. I’ll vote for whoever the nominee is .... NO OBAMA!!!!!

Yes. I would have to vote for the lesser of two evils...once again.

Just the thought of the closet Muslim as CIC gives me goose bumps.

Yes.

Anyone waiting or wanting the GOP to nominate a “real conservative” are waiting and wanting something that they don’t have and ain’t gonna do.
