MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The Republican-controlled Wisconsin state Assembly has passed a bill that would require schools to teach abstinence as the only reliable way to prevent pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases.

The measure passed early Wednesday morning is backed by Pro-Life Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Catholic Conference and opposed by Planned Parenthood and the Wisconsin Medical Society.

Good for them! I wish someone here in South Africa would have the courage and just plain common-sense to suggest this.

Praise the Lord for giving us such a courageous leader in Governor Scott Walker. All our political and religious leader should look at him as the perfect model of an warrior for Christ who walks int he darkness but fears no evil!

I will pray hard for this faithful servant of the Lord and his friends in Wisconsin!

When God and morality was outlawed in our schools, drugs, violence, pregnancy and sexual activity increased.
