To: I see my hands
I power a home in AZ solely with solar. Problem?

Without stating your cost basis and how efficient it is compared to being on the grid that's like saying you drive a Chevy Volt and get great mileage. Probably true but not exactly cost efficient or useful to society at large. So how long will it take before you break even and start getting truly free power, and how easily can it be done to run hospitals, factories, malls and other typical uses that are now done at a relatively small expense with conventional power?

I responded to the posters simple statement with a simple reply. I don't care to share with you which of your points I agree with or explain why I disagree with others. I'll go so far to say that "costs" and "break even" are concepts to which we might apply different values.

No problem here. Problem there?
