The mother of a teenager stabbed to death as she walked by a canal yesterday claimed her daughter was the victim of a brutal honour killing.
Laura Wilson, 17, was repeatedly knifed in the head by her Asian boyfriend Ashtiaq Ashgar on a secluded tow path after their relationship turned sour.
Her mother, who has never spoken publicly before, believes her daughter was murdered because she challenged the code of ethics which some ethnic communities still follow.
It is thought that Miss Wilson could be the first white victim of an honour killing in Britain.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Mrs Wilson said: I honestly think it was an honour killing for putting shame on the family. They needed to shut Laura up and they did.
Miss Wilson lived in Ferham Park, an Asian and white community in Rotherham, South Yorkshire.

It's apparently Turkmen, the language of Turkmenistan, in former Soviet Central Asia.

The only ‘ethnic’ communities this BACKWARD are the stinking MUSLIMS.
If that was my daughter, they’d field him wrapped in bacon and chopped into pieces, THEN i’d dump bacon all over their mosque and wrap their korans in bacon.

Geography 1A.
Let’s learn about earth’s continents, children.

The reporter is afraid to state the facts and has to do a PC tap dance around them with these euphemisms.
England is too PC and dhimmi to actually mention “Muslim”, they just say “Asian”.
The first thing cops will do if a terror attack happens is to send forces to protect the Mosques. Probably here too, come to think of it.
>The pathologist in court revealed that Miss Wilson had been stabbed in the top of the head repeatedly as she tried to struggle out of the canal.
>Mr Ashgar was found guilty and sentenced to 17 years in prison
Something stinks here aside from calling this muzzy trash “Asian”. 17 years is an insult to justice. This allahscum
should never see the light of day and really should be slowly tortured to death in his own feces.
The reporter knows his editors and publishers won’t print the facts.
Somehow, the term Oriental has become a bit pejorative in the U.S., and here in Canada too. It defies logic (given their shared status with Jews, as minorities who are actually victims of negative affirmative action; the term should be considered an honorific).
That's interesting, because "oriental" originally referred to anything east of the Roman world. To me, "oriental" means all of Asia plus European Turkey, North Cyprus and perhaps North Africa.
Don’t forget that Barack Obama, the smartest guy in the room, called Hawaiians Asian.
17 years in a posh “prison” or will he get out in 6 or 7?
This is in the UK, Norm. Despite rumors to the contrary, they do not speak the language that we do. Asian is absolutely the appropriate term if you want to be understood in the UK. It should in no way be confused with “asian” in American English which has an entirely different meaning.
Why not use “Muslim”??
Because they are too PC
Same here Fiji. But to me chips come in big bag from Frito Lay. To them chips come in little boxes at McDonalds and Burger King. Asian is one of those words that has a completely different meaning to them than it does to us.
Wrong GeronL, just plain wrong. In previous decades the majority of asians in the UK(using the British definition) were Christians fleeing persecution.
Scratch my last, I misread your comment.
lol.
Obviously I was referring to the media going out of its way not to inform their audience of what kind of person did this
Two people separated by a common language I guess ;)
