Looney has been receiving kudos from some conservative quarters for the stand he took on the Sudan. It will be interesting to see what (if anything) he can say about that without a script. He does not have a reputation for being one of the sharpest knives in the drawer.

Well, you know, you have a point.

I could even see his stand on EVIL Sudan to be noble...

It’s just all the other stands he takes, and the comments he’s made that insult, vilify, and misrepresent us conservatives, are so bad.

CNN SU

Crowley’s topic of the morning to Santorum:

You don’t have any executive experience.

You couldn’t even get on the ballot in some states.

You lost potential delegates because you were unorganized and failed to meet various requirements.

Santorum responds that the one with massive financial resources doesn’t seem to be organized enough to run away with primary wins.

Crowley: Are you staying in — because, mathematically, you can’t get enough delegates to win — just to keep Romney from getting the nomination?

Santorum responds that he is running as the candidate for the conservatives. The hypothetical also says that Romney can’t get enough delegates to get the nomination.

Crowley: questions Santorum about his stand on porn and his allegation that the Justice Dept isn’t doing much to prosecute porn cases.

Santorum responds that it’s for the chiiiiillllldddddeeeen.

Foreign Policy

Crowley suggests sanctions would work against Iran, as Obama is doing now.

Santorum responds that sanctions are weak and Iran continues to develop nuclear weapons capability. Says Obama doing little to deter Iran shows weakness.

Weakness?

Crowley interrupts: We’re outta time.

Morning buddy, looks like your front door could freeze over again tomorrow locking you safely in your castle once again.

Talking about one of our up and coming rockstars Paul Ryan--he's the best. I just wish he were a household name so we could run him nationally.

ABC host, Jonathon Karl, refers to the Repub. race as a two man race.

Karl asks Santorum about convention fight....is this your best chance? Santorum believes there are plenty of delegates left to get. Mentions Newt pulling votes. Karl says Romney has said a convention fight would doom Rep. chances at beating obama.

Santorum says Romney hasn’t been able to close the deal because people are not convinced. Reviewing Romney’s record is helping him prepare for the general race if he runs against obama. Karl is “amazed” at that claim. Santorum specifies the big issues, healthcare mandates, capntrade, are where Romney and obama are similar.

Karl says Gingrich says he’s helping Santorum out by staying in. Asks Santorum if he wants Newt out.....Santorum deflects the question to criticizing Romney some more. Let’s see if Karl will go after getting him to answer the question again. No, he does not...he picks up on the challenge for a head-to-head debate between himself and Romney.

Karl brings up Puerto Rico and his statements about official English language being required. Stayes with the claim, says polls say only 15% are fluent in English. Criticizes Romney for pandering to PR by saying it’s fine that they don’t have English as the official language, but thinks it must be the official language for our existing states.

On foreign policy - obama has given insurgents/Taliban hope by giving a deadline of a pullout. Other actors in the region, Pakistan, etc. know they will have to deal with the Taliban when we are gone. somewhat agrees with Newt - either commit to winning or get out.

On the economy, plays Romney clip claiming Santorum is an economic lightweight. if Romney 47 out of 50 in creating jobs in MA...he may have been successful in his business, but that doesn’t translate into helping create jobs going forward. we don’t need a CEO to manage our economy, significant changes need to be made.

Ruh-roh, here comes the question about Santorum’s stance on obscenity. Santorum says his statements up on his campaign site were merely a response to questions asked of his campaing. Refers to enforcing current laws to limit hard-core pornography. (doesn’t spend much time on this issue)

W/Re to supporting SPecter - Santorum says it wasn’t one of his proudest moments.

Something about “Shamus” the dog????? I don’t know what they were talking about.

Sheesh, you’re right! Just got this computer back late yesterday and I had not checked the weather. Guess we’d better cook out on the grill today before the weather changes. Still, it won’t be freezing here so you can put that one away for awhile.

Paul Ryan would be a fantastic VP or anything else. But, he’s also needed in the US House to keep things going there. If he were not there, too many politicians (Democrat and Republican) would abuse their office and start spending even more money.

I just missed most of the best guest appearance we will see all day on FNC or any other net--Mark Steyn.

He just offered his audience a free waterboard for sitting in the first three rows of his appearance somewhere I missed it.Too good.

Of course there was only a few minutes for Steyn since he will blow away all of the rest of their guests. No sense getting anyone to watch the dreadful weekend waste (except for the blonde, shes great) today.

Nobody’s caught it it yet. :).
I’m sensing, AB, as moderator you have a bias against the creep.

Coverage of the FOX-BAIN Sunday Romney-Pimp Fest
======================================

On Afghanistan, some issues are covered,
and the question is:
"what would Pres. Romney do?
RINO Backstabber: "I would work with Karzi",
and "speak with commanders there".
The rest is vague.

What follows is a mushy answer, well rehearsed
by the RINO who says he is considered even
a "faster withdrawal".

From the moderator, Speaker Gingrich is invoked
when he pointed out, correctly, "We are risking lives."
Romney does not respond in kind.
Romney says he has NOT taken a stand and will not.
RINO Romney: "It is plain to see conditions
are not going well".
Romney then has a short list of Obama complaints, but
unable to articulate anything clear, heralding his plan.

For the ME softball to Romney, on Iran,
Romney is asked about the probability of Israel
acting. Romney reviews the subject and
again has a short list of Obama complaints but
again is unable to say or articulate absolutely
anything clear heralding any plan of his own.
Romney does indicate that "sanctions" are what
HE is interested in, and a "military commitment".

Another softball:
"Is Obama to blame for high gas prices?"
Romney reviews the subject and
again has a short list of Obama complaints
focusing on Obama's energy "trio".
When again Romney does not, or is unable
to make a clear case by himself for himself,
the moderator takes excerpts from his speeches
for him. Romney likes that and has smug smile
grateful that his well-bought FOX-Bain News
was actively 'on the case' for him.

Summary:
FOX-Bain Romney-PIMP News did not disappoint
the DNC, the RNME, and the RomneyBOTs
who want America and its conservative majority
to 'just go away'. Today, based upon his smug smiles
and facile list of Obama critiques (while actually avoiding
taking a stand on just about anything), each question
appears to have been carefully selected for him
and his failing candidacy.

Smug smiles and greasy hair will probably not help
the facade which has had to buy votes, so far.

No bias at all! Just a more, shall we say, accurate use of his name; still phonetic, but spelled more clearly to reflect his personality.

I don’t believe any of the so-called experts. The longer this race takes the more the media has to talk about our candidates as they campaign against 0bama and his cronyism. The media is forced to cover failed economic policies and horrible foreign policy because all of our candidates are commenting on them. Once it’s decided, the media will get off topic, give 0bama a pass, disparage our candidate from now until the election.

Yeah that’s true. But Ryan is a born leader and my guess is some time in the future he, Palin and Marco will take their leadership places and our party will shine again.

Thanks AB.

who is the jerk saying this soldier’s “massacre” etc, as if he knows what happened?

The idea of multiple deployments is still not getting to the link that we do not have enough over there , we have no mission of winning, we have impossible ROE for a “war”.

It's sad and I have said it before, there are probably a dozen or more Freepers that would make better Presidents than the ones we have running now.

that being said,we have to get back to reality and realize that any of the big three are better than zero. Some obviously better than others. My choice being Newt. But, in the end we better coalesce around one, whoever, or risk dooming the country to its "last" four years.

Morning, Alas! I see things are as usual.

I support a debate with Santorum and Romney. I would like Santorum to answer exactly how he got a favorable mortgage on his $3 million huge house in Great Falls, along with 5 acres and a swimming pool. I am all for people making money, especially with a large family, but I do not like someone poor-mouthing himself as a blue collar guy when he is a law school graduate, fraternity member, and well-set financially. This is misleading to the electorate.

So let them have a debate. Perhaps some of my questions would be answered, and people could judge for themselves.

I hope everyone has agreat day!

Thanks, AB. Looks like a lame lineup this morning, unless you really, really want to look at Clooney. And he does look good. Seems like his cause is rather worthy but I admit that I don’t know much about it and shouldn’t he be addressing his concerns to his good friend, Obama?

You are right. We,the New Media and the candidates, have provided lots of ammo for the left to spin, lie about and use against us.

The counter to all that however is zero. He's an abolute disaster. If our side can't reveal all the abuses and misdeeds this regime has committed in just a few years maybe we don't deserve to win.

That’s the kind of thing (this takeover) I keep pushing on threads where I see people claiming they won’t vote for this or that nominee.

That’s voting for the leftist lunatic, I don’t care what kind of self-serving, noble face they put on it.

True and good points, Morgan.

ABC plays a clip of Biden claiming that if voters give Rep’s the keys to the whitehouse they will bankrupt the middle class.....again.....LOL, Joe!

Barbour challenges what actual Jobs numbers mean.....

Bill Burton - things are getting better in the economy but we’re not where we need to be. American people are hopeful (uh-huh....keep telling yourself that, Bill

The lone lady on the panel agrees...things are getting better, even Santorum thinks it’s getting better, that’s why he wants to talk about pornography....(lol....no, he doesn’t)

Karl asks Will why gas prices are affecting politics. (???)
