Well,,,, I’m willing to talk about guns and gin anytime!
I got no gin.. will beer do?
Could you alter the title to "Gun Talk" ☺
Trouble was bound to happen. ☺
Freudian slip in the title???
I like them both but they don’t mix too well. Last time I mixed them I shot at a opossum in my back yard and hit the BBQ Grill. Both are dead now.
What? You said Gin. Thought we were going to discuss booze and its joys.
Oops. I thought this said girl talk.
I’m not much of gin man myself. Vodka works better for me.
A ‘produce’ of India? :-)
At least they know what we like. Guns & Gin!
A sad tale of woe..
I love ghost ring sights.
I tried ghost ring sights on a pistol, a CZ 52 but it did not work.
You need a long sight radius for that system to work.
Pity it didn’t work. I did a good job installing that ghost ring.
Yes, as far as handguns go, the .357 has no equal.
Try them CZ 52 Its gonna surprise ya!
I tend to like the SW 40
Gotta give a shout out!
Lubuski? Ruger Vaquero?
I dig Rugers. Gin, not so much.
The Ruger revolvers are great
The redhawk the blackhawk the vaqureo the SP101...
The .357 ballistics are superior to the .40 SW in every way. The rimmed case is the only short coming.
Can I start a tab?
Bullet stuck in 2.5 in barrel?
Sounds like a squib load.
‘Gin Talk Radio’? I’m in this week! *snicker*
The Mod must be off tonight. I asked that my typo be fixed LOL
IMHO the 10mm is everything that a .357 is not. And it is hard to beat .357 Mag.
We are talking Mag., right? Not Sig I hope. Anyhow, I’ll jet! Later!
To much muzzle Rise in the 10MM
The 40 SW is just about right and even its peppy
Thats a handfull
Might be a good gun for bear country. You could also shoot .40 cal with it, right?
I saw that. lol!
Hey don’t feel bad. I was posting a daily devotional called ‘Today’s Turning Point’ and one day (on a weekend no less-when ALL freepers are around) I posted
‘Today’s Turning Pong’
O my! lol...that thread was hysterical. It will be a distant memory in a few hours... lol!
Went to the range with Clint Jr home for Spring Break. Shot the 40cal G27 with the 9mm and 357SIG conversion barrels and they both worked flawlessly again. I’m getting used to 357SIG and its loudness, it didn’t smack the hand as bad as I first thought. Fun round but boy is it expensive! Almost three times as much as the 9mm. Again it was a pleasure going back to the 9mm, such a sweetheart to shoot.
Something new, I switched to shooting left handed. I’m right handed but left eye dominant and have always shot left handed with long guns but not pistols. It was like I had an injection of super power accuracy, I have never shot so well in my life. The only problem is getting used to loading the mags with the gun in my left hand and carrying on my left side. Practice, practice, practice I guess.
BTW a federal court ruled Merryland carry law is unconstitutional, woo hoo!
I’m left eye dominant too, but never tried shooting left-handed.
I imagine you could a 40SW its just a short 10MM.
Its a revolver so I dont know why cartridge length would matter
There should be no feed issues.
I imagine you could use a 40SW
The Hogs Gone Wild guy is just down the road from me.
There are other things I'd rather spend my money on.
Good Evening mylife and all the Gun Talk denizens.
Speaking of gin, I just got back from working on my sister-in-law’s new house.
In the attic is a empty, dang nab it, Beefeater gin bottle in a nifty Beefeater’s labeled pouring cradle.
Ah the things you find in old houses now and then.
We now return to the regularly scheduled gin, I mean gun talk:-)
I still want to shoot the thing!
Its destined for Hollywood!
Tonight might be the perfect Gin Talk night!
