Dalia Mogahed, a member of President Barack Obama's Advisory Council on Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships, is fighting controversy over her online remarks about Israel.
On March 10, Mogahed tweeted her opposition to embattled Syrian ruler Bashar al-Assad, listing as one of his flaws the allegation that he "cannot deliver...resistance to Israel," though Syria has been implacably hostile to Israel for decades.
Until recently, the Assad regime sheltered the Hamas terrorist group, among other anti-Israel organizations, and recently organized a march on the Israeli border that was treated as a legitimate protest by the international media.
After bloggers noticed Mogahed's tweets, she began defending her remarks, explaining that they were aimed at Assad's supporters, and not Israel. However, it is clear from other, unrelated tweets that she also holds anti-Israel views.

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
I’m beginning to wonder if obama isn’t just muslim, but a member of the cult of the 12th imam. Because he has put people in place and has taken actions that can lead to but one thing: nuclear holocaust.
I’m shocked that associates of President Omoslem would hold anti-Israel views.
A muslim who doesn’t like Israel. Who coulda guessed!
This woman is being misinterpreted. I know it will fall on deaf ears, but basically what she did was call Assad supporters a bunch of losers because they support him while he can’t deliver on even on their #1 item, she isn’t an advocating for him. She’s a very highly regarded academic.
Heck, he might think he IS the 12th Imam.
“This woman is being misinterpreted.... Shes a very highly regarded academic.”
So, the "Faith Based Advisor" for THESE United States is a Muslim? Really? Really, Really?
Ah. She is a MEMBER of a council. My mistake.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
Highly regarded academic jew hater
They are big time in Pakistan and almost every physician in the country is a "Sevener". That's Ali Aga Khan's crowd (although there are other less well known subgroups in that cluster).
The Seveners learned long ago to adopt a protective coloration that would keep the Twelvers from killing them. (of course they also had their own teams of assassins for a very long time).
If you don't get the scorecard on Team Islam you can never figure out who is doing what to who. Did anyone check out what kind of Moslem his stepdad in Indonesia really was? How about his sister there? )
Well, that make it all right then. /s
Good catch, Nachum.
It is seriously excruciating living through the Usurper’s reign. May he rot in hell.
Prayers, friendship and love going out to Israel and the Jewish people. Don’t take garbage from anyone!
“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.
For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.”
I'd settle for him rotting in a cell in club fed.
So both the Democratic candidates for the 2008 presidential election have as their close confidants Muslim women close to Jihad thinking:
Hillary Clinton won’t distance herself from Huma Abedin, who has close familial ties to the terrorist Muslim Brotherhood.
Barack Obama has this anti-Semitic, Sharia Law-promoting Muslim woman, Dahlia Mogahed, in full Muslim regalia advising him about Israel. Her mouth and nose are showing and they call her an academic; that proves she’s as American as apple pie....
The story, “The Emperor’s New Clothes” comes to mind. The media is not saying what needs to be said and what needs to be the topic of an investigative report. Soon the news anchors will be wearing Muslim garb, too, so the Muslim section of the audience will feel more comfortable, less alienated from America.... That would be sharia-friendly and most of all it would be “progressive.”
Faith Advisor, Obama-style.
