Bristol Palin is following the fighting spirit of her famous Mama Grizzly!
On her blog, she wrote a very compelling message to the President.
".... Dear President Obama,
You dont know my telephone number, but I hope your staff is busy trying to find it. Ever since you called Sandra Fluke after Rush Limbaugh called her a slut, I figured I might be next. You explained to reporters you called her because you were thinking of your two daughters, Malia and Sasha. After all, you didnt want them to think it was okay for men to treat them that way:
One of the things I want them to do as they get older is engage in issues they care about, even ones I may not agree with them on, you said. I want them to be able to speak their mind in a civil and thoughtful way. And I dont want them attacked or called horrible names because theyre being good citizens.
And I totally agree your kids should be able to speak their minds and engage the culture. I look forward to seeing what good things Malia and Sasha end up doing with their lives.
But heres why Im a little surprised my phone hasnt rung. Your $1,000,000 donor Bill Maher has said reprehensible things about my family. Hes made fun of my brother because of his Downs Syndrome. Hes said I was f-d so hard a baby fell out. (In a classy move, he did this while his producers put up the cover of my book, which tells about the forgiveness and redemption Ive found in God after my past very public mistakes.)
If Maher talked about Malia and Sasha that way, youd return his dirty money and the Secret Service would probably have to restrain you. After all, Ive always felt you understood my plight more than most because your mom was a teenager. Thats why you stood up for me when you were campaigning against Sen. McCain and my mom you said vicious attacks on me should be off limits.
Yet I wonder if the Presidency has changed you. Now that youre in office, it seems youre only willing to defend certain women. Youre only willing to take a moral stand when you know your liberal supporters will stand behind you.
What if you did something radical and wildly unpopular with your base and took a stand against the denigration of all women even if theyre just single moms? Even if theyre Republicans?
Im not expecting your SuperPAC to return the money. Youre going to need every dime to hang on to your presidency. Im not even really expecting a call. But would it be too much to expect a little consistency? After all, youre President of all Americans, not just the liberals.
And may the whole family stand as a beacon of truth to what the evil, ugly, sexist, racist left thinks about wholesome American families.
May the left be eternally punished for what they did to this fine family! I hope this Rush 'incident' brings it back to the minds of the American people, and I thank Bristol for keeping the flame lit.
Wow... Go Bristol!!
Once again the Palin women doing the work the MSM or republican wimps will not do. As for the Palin men, I think Todd should have had a face to face with Bill Maher a long time ago.
Sarah has a link to the article on her facebook page. Wonder when Britol will start visiting the talk shows.....
AMEN on your tag line!!!
Nice! Go, Bristol!
Who read it to you?
Beautiful! Thank you.
The Bristol Stomp....
:) You must be as old as I am.
The kids in Bristol
Are sharp as pistols
Good one. Thanks for the flag.
She didn’t abort her baby. That’s what Obama would have wanted her to do. Now she has to take her punishment. If you abort and/or take poison pills, you are ok in his book and worthy of a phone call.
I’m pretty sure the first time I heard “The Bristol Stomp” was in a on a juke box in a saloon off Clark Air Base in the Philippines in about 1962. I’m coming up on the Big 7-0.
I read Bristol’s book, and it wasn’t half bad. If you have a teenaged daughter I would recommend that you give it to her. Palin’s kids, Bristol in particular, are likely going to be a force for good in the future. That Sarah and Todd P. would have such a legacy is not surprising.
I bow to your expertise. Thank you.
Thanks for the ping!
Thanks. I admit to a gleefully sadistic pleasure in making that response.
Burdock on the end of your tampon?
I knew it was one of those guys in the “king hats,” as my middle son called crowns. I was thinking it was Henry VIII over the divorce. So much for my “education” in history. LOL!
