Manning is actually making more money than the Colts would have paid him. He signed a 5-yr, $90 million dollar contract last Spring. The Broncos are paying him $95 million for 5 yrs. The guarantee maoney may be different though. But if he plays out all 5 yrs then, he makes more with Denver.

I’d put the over/under at 1 1/2 seasons. Manning will be 36 this week, and is coming off major neck surgery and nerve damage. Also, instead of playing all his home games in a dome, he will now be playing those 8 games, outdoors, in Denver.

Add the Tebow factor and this has diaster written all over it. If the Broncos start out 0-2, Broncos fans will believe the wrath of God has come down on them for dumping Tebow and Manning will be the 2nd most hated man in Denver (right after John Elway).

Of all the teams Manning considered, Denver seems like the worst fit, by far.
