you need a legal photo ID to purchase a firearm in America and purchasing a firearm is a constitutional right just like voting. For that matter, you need a legal photo ID to work in America, to open a bank account, to buy alcohol or tobacco products, TO REGISTER TO VOTE, to drive a car, to get on a plane or a train, to vacation in a foreign country, to hunt or fish, to get a loan for a house or a car, to use a credit card, to enlist in the military, to attend college, to receive welfare benefits or social security benefits, to get a building permit...IOW, you need a legal photo ID to be a legal American citizen. One does not need to be a genius then to see what this voter ID business is really all about, franchising illegal immigrants in order to steal elections. The NAACP can, therefore, kiss my white ass.

The truth is that it insults the intelligence of blacks and Hispanics to claim that getting an official photo ID is too laborious, too demanding, and ultimately disenfranchising.
...........................................................
Another truth is that it insults the intelligence of blacks to continue Affirmative Action Jobs, because they cannot pass the same test a white person has to pass to obtain that job.

NAACP President Ben Jealous

That's a sin.

Absurd? It’s brilliant. The UN and the NAACP are fellow travelers. Where else can they be taken seriously?

At the end of the article is the KEY to much of the insanity occuring in the USA today. “There is a need to justify their continued existence.”
The NAACP has succeeded, I believe, much beyond it’s original intentions. In fact, the battle is won, and the leaders must be quite anxious over the security of their jobs.
But the same can be said of the “Environmental” movement. The air is cleaner, the water is better, the environment is much improved beyond the dreams of the “original” environmentalists. GOOD HEAVENS...The well paying jobs can be in danger. Thus EPA regulators must justify their positions by instituting every expanded regulations.
Bureaucrats in the WELFARE INDUSTRY must protect their positions by insuring a never ending and ever growing NEEDY population. Heaven forbid the people needing assistance get off the welfare rolls.
The solving of many problems puts into peril the well intentioned people striving to solve the problem.

As their own name describes them as a racist organization they are no better than the KKK.

They and obama, sharpton, j. jackson, un-reverand fairycon are the major reason the “N” word is still bandied about.

They refuse to become part of being just AMERICANS and see color and race everywhere.

NAACP racist by definition and by this act have shown themselves to be traitors to the USA but that is not really new news.

If you voted for Obama to prove you were not a racist then vote against him this time to prove you are not an idiot.

The left treats their supporters like dumb animals, and even the supporters treat each other like dumb animals. Every leftist sees every other leftists as a dumb animal. (It must be a Darwin thing.)
It sounds like a real bitch to be a leftists. Personally, I like being seen and treated as an intelligent human being.( Which is why I'm right wing.)

I think we can assume that the U.N. countries will jump on the chance to criticize the U. S.

Once this happens and the news is publicized to the U.S. voters, I think the result will backfire on the NAACP and lower their approval standing with the majority of our citizens.

There is no constitutional right to vote. Thus, for many blessed years, women were not allowed to vote.

They could have saved a ton of moolah by going to New York...Why did they go to Geneva???

Personally, I would like to see the U.N. operate, and coalate in Geneva permanently...Rent out the existing NYC facility for low income thugs...Oh, wait, it already is...

As an election official (Presiding Judge) at the polling location in my precinct, I will follow the election laws of the state of Texas, which have been voted on in the majority, and implemented by the signature of the governor of this state...

I will continue to ask for state issued Photo ID from “everyone” who comes to vote in my precinct...I have spent too much time keeping the voting rolls in my precinct up to date, and the only way to effectively do so is to ask for somethign that validates who that person is, and their current address...It has nothing to do with any of the nonsense the NAACP or the DOJ are trying to insinuate...

I will not deviate from that course...They will have to remove me from that position, and the only person or representative from the Secretary of States’ office in Austin would be able to do so...

Anyone else coming in and disrupting my polling location who is not the lawful authority will be arrested and charged with disrupting a polling location...I have the authority and charter to do that...And it will be the first time I may have to do that...

The ball is in their court!!! I will spend no more time worrying about this nonsense...

Because the wonderful fact of American life is that most American civil liberties and civil rights organizations have little reason for their continued existence. The NAACP, therefore, has to justify its existence. Which it does by manufacturing crises (and hopefully garnering media attention). Without major eruptions of racism, its raison d'etre disappears -- along with its funding.

It is also an election year. It is predictable and expected that the NAACP will use the race card against the Reps. They do it every Presidential election.
