Usually when the media talks about high school kids at the Wisconsin Capitol its been about teachers bringing students to protest Wis. Gov. Scott Walker and his budget cuts. But we have some different news to bring you today: during a visit to the Capitol last Thursday, some Wisconsin high school students decided to fight back against the anti-Walker sentiment they were witnessing during an impromptu visit.
In short, students from Sheboygan Lutheran High School decided to stop by the rotunda in Madison while in town for the state high school basketball playoffs. While there, they witnessed protesters signing about unions and solidarity. So they decided to drown them out with pro-walker chants.

Normally, I don’t condone “shouting down” opponents, but these guys have had plenty of time to say their peace and they’ve constantly shouted down Gov. Walker whenever he’s tried to speak publically anywhere.
Are the yutes finally doing the math?
As they enter the workforce...if they ever manage to find a job....they will be forced to subsidize the standard of living the older generation has assigned to themselves.
A standard of living that will be forever out of reach for this younger generation if we keep following this path.
No film at 11.
Hmmmmmmmmm, students opposing their teacher’s union thugs. The Ol’ Bell Shaped grading curve just might be skewed to the Left this year - - - .
Ping! Good conservative Lootrin yoots from Sheboygan, yah!
"Excuse me, did the students take over the State Capitol and refuse to leave, set up camp, damage walls, threaten legislators, crash through police lines, encourage police insurrection, sit down in hallways blocking access, pound on buses carrying legislators, lock their heads to railing, or do any of the other destructive things the anti-Walker protesters did for weeks on end last year? (added) Oh, and did I forget the death threats?"
These are some smart kids, in spite of the unions. They could (should) teach the teachers!
That's absolutely deadly for the Democrats ~
Notice it was a private school.............
I'm willing to bet Sheboygan Lutheran High School is affiliated with one of the conservative sects of Lutheranism and not the ELCA.
Bump for Weenietown.
There is a group out there called: Union Conservatives. They have a website and are on Facebook. There are lots of us out here, who are forced to join a union as a condition of our employment. UC has fought against card check, and as a NY State employee, I applauded our Governor’s plan to fix our broken pension system. Many of us are putting more and more of our paychecks into a deferred comp plan, because we are waiting for the current system to implode.
Suh-weeeeet.
I love seeing non-brainwashed kids shouting down paunchy, ex-hippie, union teachers. LOL
-—I’m sure some of the kids are fed up with all the hogs at the government trough which are eating away at their household income.——
Suggested chant: “Teachers are pigs!” Followed by snorting sounds. Repeat as necessary.
That would have knocked them on their ample posteriors.

NEWS YOU WON’T BE SEEING ON MSNBC
Thanks for correcting me. As a Lutheran I know that their Thrivent Insurance is excellent.
Hope for the future.
Now that young people are realizing they are the ones who will have to clean up the spending mess by the Dems they are going to support limited government, fiscally conservative policies.
Ironically, it almost seems like the Left is using its own rope to hang itself, just like their hero once predicted.
every year is a whole new crop of college grads who have to move back home.
They are postponing the normal things we all did...buying the first car, renting the first apartment, saving for a house, planning a wedding....
Everyone is in limbo.
Wisconsin Sheboygan Lutheran High School Stand with Walker ping
FReep Mail me if you want on, or off, this Wisconsin interest ping list.
God love these fresh faces in the yellow shirts! Stand with Walker!
Note that this is not a government school, but a Lutheran parochial institution. A very different venue.
Glad to hear.
Lootrin?? LOL!! YOU were raised by Chernans in nort WisCONsin too, were you?
;)
Teachers at Missouri Synod Lutheran High Schools are not pigs. They are called ministers of the Church.
No, the govt school union teachers.
The joys of spell check. I'm sure the author meant "singing."

Click link above. The student athletes were there at the invitation of their state senator to celebrate their WIAA state Championship. One of the students of this small school, Sam Dekker, is 6” 8” and if you watched the March Madness here you may have seen him.
I watched some of the semi-finals while on my lunch break and Dekker was quite impressive. He’ll be fun to watch in Madison.
I heard this audio on Mark Belling’s show and it was so wonderful. A bright light in a time of trouble. Some rare good news.
Singing is a powerful tool. We need to write the best songs and sing them. They should be so catchy that you can’t help but sing them too.
