Let's stipulate up front that it might well have been an innocent mistake. Even so, until explained, it was shocking to say the least. On today's Morning Joe, as Mika Brzezinski read a David Brooks op-ed about the shooting of civilians in Afghanistan in which he wrote of "monstrous acts that shock the soul and sear the brain," suddenly the screen cut--for an extended period--to three different photos of . . . Republican Paul Ryan.
Even Joe Scarborough couldn't resist joking about the incident revealing the show's liberal bias. As it turns out, an op-ed by Ryan was up next, and the control room guys might simply have transitioned a bit too quickly--though some readers might not be willing to give Morning Joe the benefit of the doubt. Innocent mistake or nasty MSM prank? You be the judge ping to Today show list.
ABCNNBCBS = GGTV: Gangster Govt TV.
No biggee. Only 17 people saw it anyway...
...(including the MSNBC crew)(but not including those of us that visited the link).
Didn’t see it, but knowing the show, it was no accident—of course they will deny it was purposeful.
Mika has nice breasts.
Pray for America
Scarborough is essentially a self-loathing conservative, and Morning Joe is his penance.
When the Mika (who is not just a liberal, but a complete dolt) was Joe's whipping girl, it was not so bad. But since Mika's role was expanded, and Willie Geist's role was expanded beyond simply being a newsreader, and Pat Buchanan was canned by PMSNBC, the constant presence of Mike Barnicle and Donny Deutsch, it has reached the point where the only person approximating a conservative voice is Harold Ford, Jr.
The only bright spot is when Chris Christie comes on. Christie, with his intellectual heft, beats Mika like she is a rag doll.
The 44-year-old said she discovered she took home 14 times less than co-host Joe Scarborough.
"While he was coming from prime time, and he was worth a lot more, he's also the creator of the show, I was certainly not worth 14 less than him."
My God, what a fool. It's Morning Joe, not Morning Mika. She basically is saying it is not how much she should be paid, but her pay should be a ratio of Scarborough's pay. Mika would turn down $1M a year if Joe made $15M per year. That is pure envy.
What’s a mika?
“No biggee. Only 17 people saw it anyway...”
As annoying as MSNBC and the political hacks who staff it are, it’s important to remember something only a de minimis percent of the population have ever watched its programming.
These blowhard pundits like to think they’re shaping opinion and setting agendas but they’re really just spitting in the wind and howling at the moon and preaching to the committed.
If a tree falls in the forest but no one is there to hear it does it make a sound?
If an MSNBC anchor farts on the air but no one is watching does it make a smell?
At the end of the day MSNBC and its cast of clowns are irrelevant.
The other day they were talking about the do nothing congress, all the pictures were R’s
Great gams, too...
