Do Wavering Obama Voters Think the Man They Voted for Is Naïve?

Do Wavering Obama Voters Think the Man They Voted For Is Naïve?

How do you persuade someone who voted for Barack Obama in 2008 to vote for the Republican option in 2012?

...

a lot of Obama voters must be persuaded that they made the wrong choice in 2008, and that it isn’t their fault.

Monday I spoke to a smart political mind who had been watching focus groups of wavering Obama voters in swing states, and he said that one word that those voters kept coming back to, again and again, was “naïve.” (The term was to describe the president, not themselves.) Those who voted for Obama won’t call him stupid, and certainly don’t accept that he’s evil. But they have seen grandiose promises on the stimulus fail to materialize, Obamacare touted as the answer to all their health care needs and turn out to be nothing of the sort, pledges of amazing imminent advances in alternative energy, and so on.

...

If we’re seeking to persuade Obama voters that it’s okay to vote for someone else this time, perhaps we need to reinforce that notion that he just doesn’t quite understand how things work in the real world — that he understands the theories of job creation, but not the practice. He talks about a future of algae-powered cars while rejecting pipelines.

How can you ‘educate’ someone who’s so wrapped up in Dancing With The Stars or American Idol to stop munching on the tortilla chips and salsa for ten minutes?.............

The few that I know who voted for obama are going to vote for him again. Why? Two reasons: 1.He is a Democrat. 2. They believe that if the Republicans would leave him alone, he would straighten things out.

One of them asked me, "What has obama done that is so bad?" My response was, "You would't understand if I told you".

Naive.. with the “guidance” 0bama’s getting from his boss Soros and his early Alinsyite indoctrination?

Hell, no. “Naive” doesn’t apply here. “Demonic” is more appropriate. He knows EXACTLY what he’s doing.

I think you underestimate the general ‘independent’ voter. Most have already fled the Obama Hopey/Changey utopia and are heading back to the world of hard reality. They now have seen the effects of their folly in 2008 and are ready to do penance............

Bingo - most of the morons who voted for obama that i know are hopelessly ignorant and uninformed.

In fact they often spout out slogans t me that are factually false and still stridently cling to them as truth.

Its really incredible.

2 Corinthians 4

1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

I hope that you are correct.

Trying to flip as many independent swing voters as possible is a good thing.

It may be easier for some of them to change their minds if they believe they overestimated Obama’s competence rather than that they supported somebody who is evil.

This would be best : Most have already fled the Obama Hopey/Changey utopia and are heading back to the world of hard reality

There will be a couple of million voters at least, that voted for Obie last time that will either stay home or vote republican this time. Does any rational individual with a clue believe there are people out there that voted McCain in 2008 that will slap their forehead and realize they made a mistake voting R last time and will vote for Obie in November? I think not. Obie cannot run on his miserable record so this is what he has:

R voters that did not see their preferred candidate prevail in the primaries and get the nomination stay home or cast a meaningless vote for some insignificant 3rd party candidate

mobilize and capture the new idiot-youth vote that has reached voting age since the last election.

hope the number of elderly McCain voters that have passed away exceeds the number of elderly Demhole voters

the illegal alien vote

vote fraud – ignored by the MSMwhores

shameless MSM propaganda doing whatever is necessary to re-elect this puke

character assassination aided and abetted by the MSMwhores

Sadly, it may be enough

Just wondering: Can the President of the United States, Harvard Law School graduate Obama, practice law in Illinois?

I wish a reporter would have the courage to ask President Obama if he can or cannot practice law in Illinois, and if not, why not.

To me, if a candidate for President of the United States who is also a lawyer cannot practice law in his own home state, then I don't believe he is worthy to be elected President of the United States.

Yesrterday Rush was talking about his liberal acquaintences and how doggedly they stick to their point of view no matter what he says. Logic is a waste of time. All of you have said the same.

Therefore, this “well-intended but naive” description may work. In addition we could inform the liberals that we seek the same things they do - clean environment, good, inexpensive health care for everyone, help for the unfortunate and downtroddened but none for the shiftless and lazy, etc., and that we only disagree with the method of distribution. They want the government to do it because they don’t trust anyone else. We want free enterprise and charities to do it because we know that a moral population operating in a market economy can and will do much more than the government and at a lower cost. We also know the government is extremely inefficient.

We know that Obama is simply a trained Communist agitater and community organizer who only reads words others have written and follows policies designed by others. We also know those others are clever, experienced Communists who are without morals or scrupples and who seek the overthrow of our Constitutional Republic. However, since they control most of the media it is very difficult for us to get our points heard. That is why our candidates end up on media controlled TV interviews and debates with moderators who try to trip them up and discredit them.

That is why this new approach, he is naive, may just work.

Describing 0 to a DUmmie as “ a nice guy, but . . .” is another way of saying he is naive and ineffectual. This line is often used as a girl dumps a former boyfriend.

The hardcore Kos Kids will still vote for him.

The answer to * What has obama done that is so bad? * might be that his naive grandiose promises on the stimulus failed to materialize, his naive health care plan is a disaster, his naive pledges of amazing imminent advances in alternative energy is killing birds,

Second, use his own wordes against him : his promises to close Gitmo..., his promises on Medical marijuana were forgotten, etc

Evil yes, Naive is an over statement he is a bumbling idiot.

And this is my opinion as well. As Rush Limbaugh has said on occasion, "Whenever Obama Walks into a room, he is always the least competent person in the room. "

Yes, he's the stupidest person who ever managed to get into the White House. As others have mentioned, he is a "Post Turtle."

I know quite a few people who voted for obama because they were lifelong democrats and that's how they vote. I was talking to one of then recently and I realized that psychologically, they need permission to vote for a non-democrat.

The lady in question knew how bad off the economy was, having suffered a bout of unemployment herself, but her voice wavered as she asked me- who do we vote for then ?

That's when I realized that these people have voted dem for so long and so mindlessly that they actually need permission to vote the way they can see that they should.

So I told her- you cannot vote for Obama- the economy will absolutely crash if he gets another 4 years, and there won't be any jobs anywhere. She was visibly relived, and agreed with me.

Knowing this, give all your dem friends psychological permission to vote r- that's what they need. They can see the facts of the economy before them they just need permission to vote off the d plantation. Give it to them.

Re: He’s not naive or stupid. He’s doing exactly what he and Ayers and Dohrn planned on doing years ago.

We are seeing the fundamental change that he promised.

OK, I’ll buy into the fact that calling him evil may be counterproductive, but, dwelling on his motives may not be as important as convincing these “apoliticals” that his POLICIES are failed, not working, wrong for America, and regardless of his intentions, someone else would be better in the White House.

How do you persuade someone who voted for Barack Obama in 2008 to vote for the Republican option in 2012?

Just tell them that they'll get all sorts of "free" stuff from the government if they vote for the Republican. It works for the dems every time, and anyone who voted for Zero is almost certain to be highly motivated by the prospect of some (more) free government cheese...

It doesn't matter if it isn't true. When was the last time a democrat told the truth to voters... about anything? Come on now people, we have to start fighting like democrats (with no rules whatsoever) to have any hope of stopping them.
