Police, they say, are “investigating” whether this is a hate crime.
Yes, and I’m investigating whether the media is biased and if hate-crime law is applied equally. I’ll get back to you on that — in about two paragraphs.
The attack on the boy took place on the east side of Kansas City, Missouri. Fox 4 Kansas City provides some (sanitized) details, writing, “The victim is a student at East High School and regularly walks home after class. When he reached his porch, two older teens grabbed him, pinned his arms behind his back and then poured gas from a gas can on the boy. They then set the boy on fire.”
Thankfully, the teen victim had the presence of mind to pull his shirt up over his head and snuff out the flames. He was treated at Children’s Mercy hospital, having suffered first-degree burns to his face and head. And police said they were concerned about possible damage to his eyes and lungs.
The concern, however, isn’t translating into national media coverage — or honest coverage anywhere.

Time for reverse censorship laws. The media needs to be forced to cover such stories.
The MSM is a political entity that weeds through stories and reports those that promote its ideological goals. Those that do not, like this one, are minimized or simply ignored.
Of course in the process of promoting their political aims they are fomenting virulent hatred and racism, but the collateral damage caused by that does not matter to them in the least - the ends justifies the means doncha know.

Same reason the story from Oklahoma about the elderly couple being attacked and robbed in their own home is not getting MSM coverage (but picked up by UK media). The dear woman (about 85 years old) died; the husband, who is about 90 years old, is in the hospital. They’d been married 65 years! Such animals running amuck anymore! What in the world is wrong with people! Such ugly, awful, disgusting, hateful behavior!

What Murdoch discovered, after Rush basically showed the way for 10 years, was that conservatives were an UNSERVED market for news in the US.
Rush notwithstanding, conservative newsers in the US is still an UNDERSERVED market. We have Fox - that’s it - and lately that’s pretty weak magic right there. Axelrod was on with Brett Baer last night bumbling and stumbling.
Breitbart found this market too. If that’s your passion, news for conservatives, and you have a little capital, you can make a boatload of money even at this late date.
I’d love to see what Drudge lost from backing Romney. Coulter too. I don’t get it. They wouldn’t have done it if there wasn’t a buck to be made in there somewhere. Maybe they’ve seen something we haven’t.

I know the answer isn’t curtailing one of my freedoms in the pursuit of ‘equity in reporting’. That’s essentially the root of the ‘fairness doctrine’ which like all other Orwellian-named bills in Congress does the opposite of what the title suggests.

You should read the comments at the source. Some fool calling himself “Afotey” claims (after maligning white people for all their transgressions) in his initial post that it is “white guilt” to take him at his word that he was blaming white people...
