CUSHING, Okla. -- The President is scheduled to speak in Payne County this Thursday morning. It may be rural Oklahoma, but when it comes to pipelines, it's the Capitol. The President is expected to talk about energy, though many in that industry are not impressed.
They are even planning to protest his visit, calling it a political ploy more than a genuine interest.
Mike Cantrell with the Domestic Energy Producers Alliance says, "For the last three years he's been anti-fossil fuels."
Mickey Thompson, an energy industry expert and political analyst, says, "He calls our industry an industry of the past and they'd like us to go away."

Not to worry, his SEIU crowd will show up, along with the New Black Panthers and beat up the protesters so he can declare martial law.
On the other hand, re-election photo-ops are ok.

When I lived in Oklahoma my sales territory included Cushing, Drumright, Yale and Oilton.
I met only two Democrats in the area. Every one else was an ardent Republican.
Barry ain’t going into friendly country. They have fish fry’s, Catfishing days and turkey shoots for Republican candidates to raise money.
I’d be surprised if Barry didn’t have protesters when he arrives.
I wonder though, will he land in Stillwater or Tulsa and take Marine One? Long drive otherwise.

Obama is protested EVERYWHERE he goes, you just don’t hear about it on the buttkissing local media or on the national media.
When Bush was President, every protest got coverage, and every PENNY of gas price increases was on the front page and the top of every newscast.
Obama? He waves his little finger and the internet is scrubbed of a story he doesn’t want reported.
I wish the entire state of Oklahoma would show up and protest. The nerve of him trying to convince people that his (anti) energy policy is good for the US.
