Inslee (D - WA) Makes a Breathtaking Argument as He Exits — Voters Won’t Notice the Difference

Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate Demonstrates Astounding Humility

As of today, the voters of the 1st Congressional District no longer have a congressman. For the rest of the year they will be represented by an empty chair.

The question is whether they’ll notice the difference.

That might sound a little cruel, but the funny thing is that Congressman Jay Inslee himself is arguing that they won’t. When the Democrat announced March 10 that he would resign after seven consecutive terms to focus on his campaign for governor, he said the voters of the north-Seattle suburbs could get along without him. And while Inslee’s exit might seem a coldly calculated decision designed for maximum political advantage, you might also see it as the humblest declaration ever made by a member of Congress, sitting or not.

I bet they notice the improvement right away.

I think voters should always have a choice of "None of the above".
If it gets a majority, the seat should be left vacant.
If "None" wins twice in a row, the position should be abolished.
How's that for downsizing government?

I think it's too late for Washington.
Thanks to a couple of very large concentrated Democrat parasite nests ("cities"), the parasites outnumber the hosts in Washington now.

"I pray to god this idiot is not the next governor of Washington."

I find it hard to believe that he could possibly be worse than the Hillary clone currently occupying the position.

I'm surprised Rob McKenna(R) is still alive. He actually had the stones to oppose Obamacare in this worthless liberal Hellhole. And The Gov didn't like what her OWN attorney general was doing.

If McKenna doesn't go squishy and sticks to his principles, he will beat Inslee like a drum.

For the rest of the year they will be represented by an empty chair.

In Connecticut’s First district (represented by John Larson), an EMPTY CHAIR could govern better than that EMPTY SUIT!! (and I know him personally, went to school with him).

When he left Yakima for the West-side, believe me, we didn't miss his presence since he was so unnoticeable.

“McKenna”

McKenna keeps getting re-elected as AG by large margins.

Anyone know what the pols show?

Inslee is a true idiot if not communist or both. Inslee as Governor would be like a second term for Obozo. Unthinkable.
