TransCanadas president of energy and oil pipelines, Alex Pourbaix, said in an interview March 6 that construction on the Cushing phase of Keystone could begin as soon as June. The company doesnt expect the new review process to change that schedule, Cunha said yesterday.

It is amazing, to me, that BHO has resorted to lying this blatant this far before the election.
TransCanada should pull a John Galt. Refuse to start the southern portion until the northern portion is approved.
There is a shortage of crude pipeline capacity from Cushing to Gulf Coast Refineries. TransCanada will make money on this segment even without the Canadian Border crossing.
The expansions in Bakken. West Texas and others. There are other similar pipeline projects going from Cushing to the Gulf Refineries.

In other news, besides increasing the availabiltiy of tire gauges, and fast-tracking all petroleum products currently derived from algae, Obama further solidifed his relentless assault against high fuel prices by signing an executive order requiring all gas stations to double the number of pumps on site, so long as the new pumps are not connected to their underground storage tanks.
