Santorum: Might as well have Obama over Romney
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer / The Associated Press ^ | Will Weissert

Posted on 03/22/2012 9:00:58 PM PDT by 2ndDivisionVet

Presidential candidate Rick Santorum on Thursday said Republicans should give President Barack Obama another term if Santorum isn't the GOP nominee and for a second day compared rival Mitt Romney to an Etch A Sketch toy.

Santorum reiterated an argument he has made before: The former Massachusetts governor is not conservative enough to offer voters a clear choice in the fall election and that only he can provide that contrast.

"You win by giving people a choice," Santorum said during a campaign stop in Texas....

This Romney propaganda has been posted a dozen times by fellow Concerned ones who also peddle non stopnRomney AstroTurf 24/7. By the way Rick is right !

I think you have nailed exactly what is going on. One has to wonder how many people Romney could have paid off to infect this website or how many closet Rombots have been laying dormant here.

A vote for Romney is a vote that will set the conservative movement back at least a decade and one that moves the Republican party permanent to the left.

Any gains made in 2010 in Congress and at the state level will be washed away as Romney sells out conservatives on issue after issue.

He'll be able to work with RINOs like McCain and Murkowski to pass liberal legislation that Obama could only dream of.

The Republican party and conservative movement nationally will look like both do in California after the Schwarzenegger governorship if Romney reaches office.

I’m just tired of that arrogant Muslim-in-the-closet.

How tired are you going to be after watching Romney pass liberal legislation Obama would love to pass and couldn't? How tired are you going to be when conservatives in Congress and the state level start losing their jobs because of a disastrous Romney Presidency?

A Romney President will make the Bush years look like the good ol' days.

If it’s a choice between Obama and Romney, I’ll not vote. Deciding between two evils is no choice.

Watching Rick reminds me of an old PeeWee Herman Movie.
“ I know you are, But what am I ? “
“ I knew that was gonna happen.”

Go Home Ricky

How can he say that after seeing how much damage Obama has been doing even though he’s facing re-election?

Maybe because he realized Romney can do far more damage working with RINOs and Democrats in Congress than a lame-duck President facing a growing conservative majority in Congress?

If Newt had said the same thing, you'd praising as principled for doing so.

If Romney wins the President the establishment will have crushed the grassroots and Tea Party because it knows it can run out any candidate, no matter how liberal, and enough gullible idiots will vote for that candidate.

How does one ask for a prime time speaking spot at the convention after saying something like that?
Answer: You don't. He'll be relegated to a 2am slot on the first day...before the first speaker.

Can someone tell me the size of the skiis he was wearing when he jumped the shark today???

ANY repub is better than Obama.

Ya, like the father of obama care.. oh wait...
Ya, like the pro-choice.... oh wait..
Ya, like anti-gun... oh wait..
Thinks the rich start at a lower rate than Obama.. oh wait..

It depends on the day, and who is talking to. But Romney sure sounds a lot like Obama.

I don’t trust Romney. He is an empty suit. Much like Obama. Empty suits do what they are told. We don’t know who is telling either one of them what to do.

Romney or O’bummer, Romney or O’bummer...tough choice.

I’d prefer overwhelming majorities in the House and Senate. To bad citizens don’t see it that way and Republicans wouldn’t know how to act anyway (holding majorities).

Of course, if libs, or “moderates,” make gaffes, it’s no big deal.

“5. “I should tell my story. I’m also unemployed.” —Mitt Romney, speaking in 2011 to unemployed people in Florida. Romney’s net worth is over $200 million.

6. “There were a couple of times I wondered whether I was going to get a pink slip” –Mitt Romney, attempting to identify with the problems of average folk (January 2012)”

Obama stands for socialism or worse. Mitt stands for pretty much nothing except a generic “better economy.” any republican will help bring a better economy. Rickis right at least that Romney doesn’t provide enough stopping power to any encroachment on our liberty.

I believe Romney is better than Obama, but he’s not a strong alternative to Barack.

Republicans are being played for fools.. maybe they are fools..

This election is a theatrical enterprise.. scripted..
Totally entertainment for an elite of some kind..
Republicans do NOT want a conservative.. its not in the script..

Its like “Logans Run”(movie).. scripted for the sheep to the slaughter..
Only thing missing are the “Sandmen”..

The Sandmen may be coming (in some form)...
Willard adds some drama to the Zerodamus Show..
Cane, Newt, Perry even Santo are include to make the show seem real..

Any that will be surprised when Zero wins a second term..
ARE BRAIN WASHED...

Both Romney & Obama are anti-gun, pro-homosexual, liberal judge appointing, global warming pushing, agenda-21 loving, socialized medicine, Marxist implementing socialists.

However, if Obama is in office GOP will stand with people like me to fight their agenda, while if Romney is in office GOP will fight against people like me trying to stop the agenda.

Sanatorium is right.

There aren’t any real conservatives running or in office.

America as a Judeo-Christian nation is over. Americans are going to get exactly what they deserve.

Up until yesterday I even believed DeMint was a conservative - not anymore.

Marco Rubio seems to be the odds on choice...but he has Mormon ties, amazingly enough. But maybe that gives Mitt more reason to pick him. I certainly hope that Palin and Newt have prominent roles in the campaign and that Mitt does not shun them like Gore did Bill Clinton (ultimately to Gore’s disadvantage but our win)

Peace to my Santorum brethren.

The unusual than usual amount of piling on Santorum should have us cheerleading instead of fuming!--(Laz you put me on to this with one of your posts)

The opposition (Romney crowd) is running scared and trying to change the sound bite!----Romney's etch a sketch blunder was BIG!!!!

As we've said many times before & it's very very true!!----Rick's taking more flak than usual because he's over the target!

Rick is a threat to many here at FR....and their post and run tactics is getting very old.....still ugly, vicious...but old!

RICK SANTORUM FOR PRESIDENT!
