I know very few facts about this event, but I heard that the boy was wearing a hood, similar to the one in the photo, at the time of the shooting. People, it’s hot in the South now, especially in Florida. If somebody covers himself with a hood, it’s probably not because he’s cold. He’s up to something.

I quit watching television due to the cynical way it treats you and me. All of us just sit there and take it, and that’s fine (if a waste of time) when only some silly series is at risk.
Here we have a degraded Presidency that views the American People as cynically as any sitcom writer, only the stakes are HIGH. We all know what it says about Obama to hear him say absurd things like this, but what does it say about Americans to just sit there and take it?
It’s bad enough that the ever-enterprising `Reverend’ Al is involved. You would think he’d have Korean shopkeepers to persecute.
But for the president of the USA to `stick his oar in,’ now that’s really remarkable and not at all helpful for the matter.

He was on suspension from school for 5 days...which is why he was near Orlando, instead of the Miami area, where he typically lived.
To my knowledge, nobody has released any information as to why he was on suspension.

Particularly interesting was the statement, “When the Sanford Police Department arrived at the scene of the incident, Mr. Zimmerman provided a statement claiming he acted in self defense which at the time was supported by physical evidence and testimony.”
If that is true—self-defense “supported by physical evidence and testimony”—what is the outrage about?

Wow. I can't believe he said this. By saying it, it gives an air of innocence to Trayvon since obviously Obama wouldn't have a son that looks like a criminal, and if George Zimmerman did indeed act in self defense, then the actions by Trayvon Martin are by definition, criminal. It's his unique way of poisoning the well.
