Apparently Zimmerman called in a 911 report of a suspicous person and then followed the kid in his car. Zimmerman got out of his car and chased the kid, which is one definition of initiating the confrontation. There doesn’t seem to be any evidence that prior to the confrontation the kid was doing anything worse than being a negro walking through Mr. Zimmerman’s neighborhood.
Again, I agree, we don’t have all the facts. Regardless of the facts in this particular case, Obama’s comments are creepy and opportunistic.

The police did an investigation and didn’t bring charges against this guy. If he is prosecuted, does anyone think the defense cannot come up with reasonable doubt - after the police did. It’s not as if they don’t know who did the shooting.
How can they convict this guy, but not Casey Anthony. I don’t see it.
