The reason is that just 12 years ago people on our side did not live in a bubble. That was the province of the Left. Today, too many on our side have crawled into their own bubble and believe that their personal reality is the end all, be all. They see anyone who disagrees over policy or tactics ever so slightly as traitors to the cause. A kind of Cultural Revolution type of thinking is bubbling up on our side of the aisle. If we follow this road it will lead us into irrelevancy. Me, I would rather keep moving the ball down the field, even if I have to compromise here and there. Being a permanent minority is for losers.

And I agree with you and get really annoyed with some of these people who take such rigid positions and think we have to all agree with them.

I am compromising by supporting Newt, but Romney, no way.

That is good to know, that way I could recognize you from a distance and either rush to meet you or go the other way, whichever seems best at the time.

Yeah, those folks who so rigidly insist that we have to support Republicans, even when they're flaming leftists who have trashed every single foundational principle of the republic and who have breached their sacred oaths in the most heinous ways possible, really annoy me as well.

You have a source for "most liberal governor in American history"? Other than your biased opinion that is.

Name me another governor who instituted homosexual "marriage," homosexualized state government and the public schools, banned guns, and signed socialized medicine into "law," complete with $50 co-pay taxpayer-funded abortions.

Otherwise, simply admit I'm correct, that Willard Mitt Romney is the most liberal governor in the history of the United States.

When Mitt Romney is labeled a FLAMING LEFTIST, no different than Bernie Sanders than you know that you have lost all sense of reality. Crawl out of your bubble and get a sense of reality.

Aren’t we supposed to oppose Rick Santorum because he didn’t endorse the true conservative Pat Toomey?

What a load of do do, but no more than I would expect reading just the few posts from you here.

Read #70 which pretty well sums up you.

Don't put words in my mouth. It's dishonest.

But, as to my characterization of Romney as a Leftist, just what do you call a person who ignores the law, their state's constitution, forces homosexual fake marriage on the people, homosexualizes their state government and the public schools, loads up the courts with Leftists, mainly Democrats, bans guns, socializes medicine, and signs $50 co-pay taxpayer-funded abortions into law, a "conservative"?

And you say I'm out of touch with reality? LOL...hilarious.

In other words, no, you can’t offer any evidence that there has ever been a governor as liberal as Mitt Rommey. Thanks for proving my point.

What will you do if Palin herself endorses Romney? Palin has said she's ABO, and that includes Romney. This may present a dilemma.

Not for me it won't. If she somehow decided to endorse Romney (and I seriously doubt that considering how badly his people have treated her), then we part company and I leave the Presidential ballot check box empty on election day.

Easy enough.

By the way, Mitt Romney has accomplished far more for the radical Left than Bernie Sanders ever dreamed of.

Should we really expect Toomey to support the guy that helped Specter defeat him in 2004? Remember Specter helped push through Obamacare. Rick’s decision to support Specter facilitated the outcome of Obamacare.

The correct criticism would include support for the best candidate, Newt.

Go Newt!

Reading your posts definitely brings back a couple of quotes I remember, the second one revised to include keyboading.

You should never argue with idiots because they will just drag you down to their level....then beat you with experience!

and then the original plus revised one

Its better to remain silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt?

Or put in the context of dealing with a poster like you

Its better to remain silent and be thought a fool than sit at your keyboard and post and remove all doubt

Well I am off to dinner with people who know how to conduct civil discourse. I will miss you of course.

I was wondering, though, if it could be party pressure, i.e., "Endorse him or we won't support you for re-election; we'll support someone more cooperative in a primary against you."

Could be both threats and cash. The GOP-e is desperate to shove Myth in our faces.
