Jon S. Corzine gave "direct instructions" to move $200 million from an MF Global Holdings Ltd. account containing customer funds three days before the securities firm collapsed, according to an employee email reviewed by congressional investigators.
The Oct. 28 email was disclosed in a five-page memo released Friday afternoon by a House Financial Services subcommittee. The panel is investigating what caused an estimated $1.6 billion shortfall in customer funds at MF Global, which collapsed into bankruptcy Oct. 31.

Someone is now officially in heap big trouble !
Come on guys,
Corzine is a made man, a plugged in statist totalitarian democrat. You REALLY expect he`s gonna get the Bernie Madoff treatment !?
6 months country club prison, the ones with no fences at the most but likely no prosecution at all.
Thanks for the clarification on the “JC”; I was thinking this was one of those scumbag liberal “What would Jesus do” defenses of the indefensible. I'm sure the Socialist “JC” (John Corzine) will simply state that he was “making a joke to Edith”, which she took seriously. I'm sure the liberal POS had no intention of stealing his ignorant customers’ money in order to cover for his own ineptitude, because we all know how out of character it is for liberals to misuse others’ money.
obvious weasel words.
Corzine may be the Summer Blockbuster; otherwise it’ll be the dead 6’ 2” football thug shot dead in Florida (that’s what’s shaping up, it’s the Party of Treason’s alibi for Zero’s incompetence and ineligibility), or perhaps international intervention in Syria, or Iran, or maybe all of these. Thanks Brilliant.
Mmmm mmm mmmm
He’s in trouble now.....
Interstate / International wire fraud
Oh noes ......
Didn’t Corzine testify to Congress that he didn’t know where all the investors money went?
He could be brought up on some perjury charges, as we see he did know and direct money to be transferred out.
Whether he faces any legal issues is doubtful because he’s a good Democrat.
You seem to be under the misapprehension that the laws apply to the ruling class. Corzine probably knows too much on too many people to ever let this get aired in court.
He’ll want to hurry and get sentenced so Barack can give him a 19 Jan. pardon along with Blogo....
I wonder how Carla Katz is doing these days anyways?
I know of some baseball players that lied to congress and faced charges for lying under oath....so I don’t see much of a problem in having him appear in front of a Grand Jury. There are fifty different state attorney generals who ought to be just as happy to do the job, if the US Justice Department isn’t capable of doing it.
Madoff is real close to getting a cellmate.
What are the odds Corzine gets indicted for perjury for his testimony — if I recall correctly — to Congress that he knew nothing about any transfer of client funds?
"Email Ties Corzine to Missing Funds"
This puts Corzine next in line to replace Geithner if Obama gets a second term.
This is just one more confirmation that the reason democrats know so much about that evil “corporate greed” they rail against is that they play a leadership role in making corporate greed happen.
Federal sentencing guidelines are based on amount of money
200 million if that is the legally accepted amount in question calls for minimum statuatory of 120 months and Congressional guidelines of 188 to 360 months
Some districts will not plea down but southern of New York will
Still that pesky statuatory minimum though
And no parole
10 years and you start out medium FCI pretty harsh digs for old soft peckerwoods
Would it be Cy Vance’s job to indict?
