.......Chelsey Dargis, 21, who is studying to be a teacher, voted in Metairie for Mr. Romney because she said she thought he would reach out to independents.

“I have Republican qualities, but I also agree with Democrats,” Ms. Dargis said, citing her approval of abortion rights and same-sex marriage. “I like Mitt Romney better because he once was a Democrat. He still has to have somewhat of the mind-set of a Democrat.”

Sound like more of the same we have had every where else.

If Newt got out his voters we can win this. We know Mittens will take the Concentrated Population centers.

I know Mitt has voted for Democrats but was he ever a registered Democrat?

“I like Mitt Romney better because he once was a Democrat. He still has to have somewhat of the mind-set of a Democrat.”

Apparently too many "republicans" insist on Mittens even when beat over the head with his true agenda.

It is beautiful weather in La today. Could be the cause for low turnout.

I just came home from voting. The workers said it has been slow all day. It is a beautiful here today, more people are at the garage sales than are voting. Santorum has been in Central Louisiana for the past three days. Ron Paul has had huge turnouts in Alesandria and in Baton Rouge, Gingrich has made the rounds all over La as well as Mitt. Santorum is the only one running ads and push calling, all negative against Newt and Mitt. Very negative. Gingrich and Mitts ads are positive each about the candidate, respectively. Polls close at 6:00PM. CNN will have the results. So far, CNN has done a better job on each election night, better maps and graphics

Prayers they do.

Unfortunately, this is a very demoralized base this election. The Romney smear campaign has left a scar.

But even more disconcerting for me, is the fact that this lack of enthusiasm will carry over to the General. For the Democrats, the very opposite is happening.

I know for a fact, that if the voters for our side had refused to act like Lemmings, and stuck with Newt, Newt would find a way to energize opposition to stop Obama.

But that is not the way things turned out, so hopefully, your prayer will be heard. It's about time we get a break.

Yes, you're right. It was the same 4 years ago with Huckabee in Iowa. Romney brings out the worst smears against his strongest rival and in come the pastors to rescue the social conservative with the biggest ego and they go on a suicidal mission completing Romney's plan.

I take time to select what I hope will be meaningful movies that go against Hollywierd’s usual grain, and recently I’ve been right. Surprisingly, “The Ides of March” was a look into the nasty campaign of a democrat presidental run, starring and directed by libtard George Clooney.

I have a 1 Tara byte external hard drive with over 900 movies on it. It keeps me entertained enough.

And yes, the news is getting harder to take every passing day. Without the stock market reports, I would not watch them at all, and then it is from Stuart Varney, who is very palatable.

Gee, we keep hearing Rick has no money - another lie. Negative about Newt? That's slick Rick 'doing it for the team', again, and playing it out as it was designed for him to do. That's why his supporters consider him 'good' and why he wasn't vetted (YET).

Yeah, I find that the movie selections are a minefield; the ones really worth watching are a rare find. The last good movie I saw was Master & Commander: The Far Side of the World.

I dropped NetFlix when I learned that they're heavy on homo (porno) flicks.

Yes! A mine field and you’re right about the homosexual movies. A whole category of those. I’m going to see if this town’s Blockbuster store is still open and switch to their service if it is due to the very poor sevrive from Netflix. I am still waiting to see “The Help” -— 15 weeks! Thank you for the title to the one movie I will put it in my “que”.

The problem is that those types don’t donate, they don’t knock doors, they don’t make phone calls, they don’t show up at events, they don’t try to convince their friends to vote for the candidate, and worse of all, many will likely swing her vote and vote for Obama during the general.

Only 20 delegates were apportioned in the LA primary.

Santorum took 13; Romney took 7 [Full numbers at top of this LINKED source page]

The remainder will be decided in a caucus:

....."Saturday 24 March 2012: 20 of Louisiana's 46 delegates to the Republican National Convention are allocated to presidential contenders in today's Louisiana Presidential Primary. [Caucus and Convention Rules, Adopted May 21, 2011, Rule No. 19. (d) and 20. (b)]

* 20 National Convention Delegates are allocated proportionally to those Presidential candidates receiving 25% or more of the statewide primary vote. Fractional delegates are rounded to the nearest whole number (rounding rules to handle too many or too few delegates are unknown).

* If no candidate receives 25% of the vote, the 20 delegates will attend the Republican National Convention officially unpledged to any candidate. These delegates will be elected at the State Convention where the participants at the State Convention will alone determine if presidential preference is to be a factor in such choice and, if so, how it is to be applied.

____________________________

Saturday 28 April 2012: District Caucuses convene to choose delegates to the State Convention. The participants will alone determine if presidential preference is to be a factor in such choice and, if so, how it is to be applied.

Saturday 2 June 2012: The State Convention convenes at 10 am in Shreveport to elect delegates to the Republican National Convention.

* 18 National Convention district delegates-- 3 from each of the state's 6 Congressional Districts are elected in the Congressional District meetings. The participants at the State Convention alone determine if presidential preference is to be a factor in such choice and, if so, how it is to be applied. These delegates are official designated as uncommitted. [Rule No. 19. (c) and 20. (a)]

* 20 National Convention At-Large delegates are elected according to the results of the primary. [Rule No. 19. (d) and 20. (b)]

* 5 National Convention delegates are nominated by the Executive Committee. These delegates are official designated as uncommitted. [Rule No. 19. (e) and 20. (b)]

The 3 party leaders, the National Committeeman, the National Committeewoman, and the chairman of the Louisiana's Republican Party, will attend the convention as unpledged delegates by virtue of their position."
