I would not be surprised to hear liberals jump on this, and say he got this transplant because of who he is, and how he took healthcare resources from someone poor and less powerful.

Bless his heart (old and new one). A true American patriot and a man who should have been president at some time in history. Prayers for him and his family.

When I heard breaking news about Dick Cheney I feared the worst, I thought he had died, but then when I heard he had a successful heart transplant, I was so relieved. Thank God he is going to be OK.

He might have been if not for the ticker. He has had trouble for many years. A patriot for sure.

Good thing he had it done before the IPAB board cancelled it. Being a Republican might be grounds or exclusion in the future if Hussein has his way.

I hope it is a full recovery. Bush (43) was a good man; Cheney would have been better as President however.

Prayers for him to pull through, I’ve admired that man for decades and wish the 2000 ticket could have been flipped.
