lol....

there were three questions about the etch a sketch comment in the exit polling. It did not seem to be a major factor, but it did have an impact.

Any exit polling data? Don’t see it on CNN where they usually have it.

Dear Rick,

From now until April 3, please camp out in WI and make sure you get all the delegates except Madison/Milwaukee districts.

And sometime this week, go visit Frederick, Hagerstown, and Cumberland MD to ensure you win the 6th District. Then visit Bel Air and Salisbury to ensure you win the 1st District.

If this itinerary does not match your teams, please change it to do so. Thanks.

It's hard when you hear supposed news anchors discounting the entire South in order to prop up Romney.

I get it, but for goodness sakes at least use some logic before jumping to these conspiracy theories.

The networks all tend to call these at races at almost the exact same moment - and they all want to be first if they can. They are all using the same exit poll numbers and the same formulas in their election rooms. This stuff is almost a science at this point. The exit polls are taken from a bunch of different precincts and they match those results against the actual returns. In some cases the exit poll results are so overwhelming, such as tonight in Louisiana, that they can make a call as soon as the polls close. They could also make a near immediate call in Illinois for the same reason. In Illinois, Willard's lead shrank as the results came in because urban areas reported first, but the end result was a 10 point win for him. In Virginia for example, the chameleon beat RuPaul by near 20 points, but because Ron did very well in a few districts it forces them to be more cautious and they couldn't make the call for Mitt till a half hour after the polls closed. There is no conspiracy here.

I haven’t seen it myself but lots of talk about this Obamaville ad. Is it possible that is helping people see Rick vs. Obama?

Rick now leading 48% to 27% (Woo hoo!!) with 25% reporting.

Orleans Parrish will undoubtedly narrow that gap when it starts reporting, but still a great night for Rick!

Maybe, but after looking at the exit polls, it appears more people than not have had their minds made up for more than just a few days.

Plan to be a music man when the SHTF? Got water, food? I’ll probably have to save you when the time comes.

I've heard that, but I don't think that is correct. I think that any candidate with more than 25% of the vote is eligible for delegates.

Observation: For those Romney supported irritated that Newt is still in the race, note that if the present trend continues, Mitt’s percentage in Louisiana will dip below 25%, which is the threshold required to get a single delegate in that state.

And keeping Mitt below below 25% could not have been done without Newt competing in Louisiana and getting somewhere between 15% and 20% (unless you think that in a Santorum v. Romney race, Rick would have got over 70% + Paul’s 5%, thus keeping Mitt below 25%.)

This pattern may very well repeat itself in upcoming states. So send Newt some flowers; he’s helping to keep Romney below 1,144.

I think it is. After looking at the exit polls, it’s doubtful Santorum will get to the 50%.

If Newt was not running, Santorum would have garnered almost 60% of the vote.

With 47% Reporting:

Santorum: 49%
Romney: 26%
Gingrich: 17%
Paul: 6%

If Rick gets over 50 percent, he gets all the Delegates.
