After spending at least $66 million largely to pound his Republican primary opponents into submission during an unexpectedly long primary, Mitt Romney needs money.

That's why his GOP presidential campaign is diverting to California for two days of private fundraisers this week, including a Monday stop in Redwood City. Only one public campaign event, in San Diego, has been scheduled.

Just like Obama, Romney can't raise money from normal people and has to make another pilgrimage to the San Francisco liberals for cash instead. And will Team Mittens ask for money from Ron Paul's gay billionaire sugar daddy while he's in SF, too?
