Plouffe calls out GOP candidates for criticizing Obama's Martin comments
American Thinker ^ | 3/25/2012 | Rick Moran

Posted on 03/25/2012 8:19:44 AM PDT by Qbert

The president jumps into the Trayvon Martin controversy without all the facts being known, essentially calling for the shooter to be arrested and convicted, and yet it is GOP cadidates criticizing the president who are "reprehensible" according to Obama advisor David Plouffe? CNN:

White House senior adviser David Plouffe did not mince words Sunday when talking about the reaction by Republican presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich to President Barack Obama's comments on the Trayvon Martin shooting.

"Those two comments are really irresponsible. I would consider them reprehensible," Plouffe said on CNN's "State of the Union." "I think those comments were really hard to stomach, really, and I guess trying to appeal to people's worst instincts."...

[Snip]

This is the second racial incident in which Obama has jumped the gun and either criticized "stupid" police as he did in the Gates controversy, or local authorities as he did last Friday in the Trayvon Martin tragedy. The former Constitutional law professor doesn't get it. When the president weighs in on a flashpoint controversy like this, he colors everyone's perception - including police, local courts, and his own DoJ.

In the Gates matter, his statement about police acting stupidly was given before it came out that Mr. Gates, who had every right to be on his own property, had no right to become belligerent and refuse to cooperate with police. In the Martin tragedy, a witness - ignored in the first hours after the incident occurred - has stepped forward and said that Martin attacked the shooter. This is consistent with injuries noted by police on Zimmerman when they arrived on scene.

Of course, the DOJ and the White House could not care less about rampant black on white crime, or the 300 Mexicans killed on purpose as part of their “Operation Fast And Furious.”

Only about the boy who looked like Obama’s imaginary son.

Plouffe is just simply using the race card, he and Obama have nothing else to run for re-election on!!! At the end of the day, Obama, Plouffe, obama’s adminstration, the multitude of hateful Black racists will gain nothing from their rants of hatred and revolt!!! I do not know the facts surrounding this horrible incident of murder or self-defense. I trust our legal system will work to determine what actually occurred, and in the end, justice will be served as the true facts surface.

Obama, and all the Black racist brothers were dead wrong into jumping to conclusions before all the facts are known and proven. There will be plenty of time after a legal judgement is rendered to rant and rave from both sides. Meanwhile, millions of Hispanics & Whites are totally turned off by a POTUS who speaks with zero knowledge of the true facts. Obama & company wiil come up looking badly on this issue!!!

The only thing the President should have done in this situation is call for restraint, ask the self-righteous brothers Jesse, Sharpton and Farakan to go home for people to let the legal system play out.

Because of the animosity in the situation, sending the FBI to help out isn’t a bad thing and should have been enough for the race hustlers, but apparently not. The stupid words of the President have only inflamed the situation and made it more difficult for Zimmerman to get fair treatment.

If the Supreme Court does the right thing, the Obama administration wants the streets to burn. This fake controversy in Florida is priming the pump.

Of course, the DOJ and the White House could not care less about rampant black on white crime, or the 300 Mexicans killed on purpose as part of their “Operation Fast And Furious.”

Don't forget that there are more Black deaths at the hands of other Blacks than by all the other races put together. As soon as they find the right rhetoric to make it "racist Whitey's fault, we'll all be charged with hate crimes. They will find something in the Commerce Clause that says they can do whatever they want, no matter the topic...

The issue in this sad story that makes me mad, is how everyone is jumping the gun so to speak before all the facts are viewed. I honestly do not know what really happened and who is at fault. I do know though that the left has concluded that Zimmerman is guilty, period. The biggest offender is Our President who stated the we need to do “soul searching”..............

For what, is he drawing a conclusion before knowing all the facts. Will this lead to another “beer summit” moment.

Both sides need to let this play out and let all the facts come out before making statements and protesting in the streets. THIS INCLUDES THE PRESIDENT in my opinion!

Actually, Santorum said on the Hannity radio program on Friday that a "heinous crime" had been committed and actually said it twice. Whatever happened to the presumption of innocence. Moreover the Sanford police said that they had "conducted a complete and fair investigation of this incident. We have provided the results of our investigation to the Office of the State Attorney for their review and consideration for possible criminal prosecution."

And the police stated they did not arrest Zimmerman because

"When the Sanford Police Department arrived at the scene of the incident, Mr. Zimmerman provided a statement claiming he acted in self-defense which at the time was supported by physical evidence and testimony. By Florida statute, law enforcement was PROHIBITED from making an arrest based on the facts and circumstances they had at the time. Additionally, when any police officer makes an arrest for any reason, the officer MUST swear and affirm that he/she is making the arrest in good faith and with probable cause. If the arrest is done maliciously and in bad faith, the officer and the city may be held liable."

Typical Alinsky tactic. Say it first, so we can't point out that is exactly what the WH is doing. However, it's so obvious that I think they cannot get away with it forever. "Fool some of the people some of the time.." The continual race baiting is getting over the top.

SANFORD — Members of the New Black Panther Party are offering a $10,000 reward for the “capture” of George Zimmerman, the Neighborhood Watch volunteer who shot Trayvon Martin.

New Black Panther leader Mikhail Muhammad announced the reward during a protest in Sanford Saturday. And when asked whether he was inciting violence, Muhammad replied defiantly: “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.”

The bounty announcement came moments after members of the group called for the mobilization of 10,000 black men to capture Zimmerman, who shot Trayvon in a gated Sanford community on Feb. 26.

Muhammad said members of his group would search for Zimmerman themselves in Maitland — where the 28-year old worked before the shooting, employees there told the Orlando Sentinel. He declined to say when the group would begin their search.

The Cambridge police acting stupidly and this guy Zimmerman (who is Hispanic, although it is hard to tell from the coverage) get nailed to the cross for Obama’s race wars. The media would LOVE to cover one of them.

You are supposed to be innocent until proven guilty. In an election year, if you are not black and kill a black and it can be used to throw the race card into the mix, you are presumed guilty .... and you will never be proven innocent in the eyes of the media and the race baiters, including race baiter #1 Obama. What a disgrace for a president.

If we had a man, who wasn’t such a disgrace to the Office of the President of the United States, he would have doused the flames of lynch-mob rhetoric by volunteering the DOJ to assist; if they were asked to come into the investigation. But, we don’t have such a man in that Office!

My gut instinct tells me the Supreme Court is going to uphold the basic framework of Obamacare with perhaps a 5 to 4 vote. I figure Kennedy is just left enough that he won’t want to cause a meltdown by chucking the very legislation and idea that this administration strove to obtain power to enact in the 1st place. I really see no hope to reverse this mess save economic collapse itself.

The former Constitutional law professor doesn't get it.

There is no record (other than his say-so) of Obama ever being a "professor". His utter disregard for the Constitution suggests an abysmal lack of knowledge on the subject. I will be willing to withdraw my opinion when anyone claiming to be a former student of Constitutional law under professor Obama can produce a transcript showing participation in such a course of study.

Our pathological narcissist is guilty of resume enhancement! (AGAIN!)

After the failure to knock down campaign finance reform a few years ago, and the failure to vet Obama’s eligibility, I am afraid you are probably right.

Obama care is our nation’s death nail. If we can’t pull it out of our coffin before the left hammers it completely in, then our great nation will crumble and so will the rest of the world. It will result in chaos, anarchy, death and a set back of civilization.... Until our Savior then returns.

It is ironic that the left, like Bill Ayers, who deny God and love Anarchy, are the tools that will set up Jesus’ return to earth.
