Florida’s Attorney General needs to refer the offer of a bounty by the New Black Panthers to a grand jury.
So, if the New Blank Pampers manage to track down Zimmerman and actually kill him, would Eric Holder prosecute?
Isn’t there some law on the FL books about placing a bounty on someone? Should arrest warrants be issued? Where is the media? (I crack myself up too...)
Now...if either Noot or Rick would pick this up and run with it...it’s the next logical step.
It would be prosecuted as a State matter. There is no way Holder would want to have anything with the prosecution of a Black Panther. They are after all, his people.

I would have to do some research to see what Florida law is on the matter. But the New Black Panthers are attempting to incite people to lynch Zimmerman. This has to be a violation of Florida law. And it is a direct challenge to the duly constituted authority of Florida law enforcement officials and the Florida judicial system.

I wonder if Zimmerman can sue for damages? He needs 24/7 protection now due to the “bounty hunters” going after him and his family. They are under siege.

Another great Rush analysis. Holder doesn’t seem to be too concerned that a group of private citizens would offer a bounty on another private citizen. He really needs to think this through before other groups of private citizens start copying the New Black Panthers.
If Zimmerman’s attorney is as aggressive as he should be, he will already be planning state and federal lawsuits. He should be requesting that law enforcement provide 24 hour protection for his client, and he should be seeking state and federal restraining orders against the New Black Panthers and all persons, public and private, who aid and abet them. He should call a press conference and request a RICO investigation against the New Black Panthers, and seek that their bank accounts be frozen if they are using the banks to further a criminal act. There is a whole LOT the attorney could be doing, so let’s see if he is up to it.
