The parents of an unarmed black teenager shot dead by a neighborhood watch captain in a gated community are leading a rally Monday in the city where he was killed to protest the lack of an arrest or prosecution. Professional football players Ray Lewis and Santonio Holmes are joining civil rights leaders Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton at the rally in Sanford, near Orlando, that comes before a city commission meeting. It's the first time Sanford commissioners have met since the city's police chief stepped down in what he called a temporary move.

More piling on.
Ray Lewis...wasn’t he at the murder scene of a black man outside a strip joint?
Holmes too. Another shining example for today’s youth.
Yep. An accomplice after the fact to a double homicide.
Where are some lethal lightening bolts when one needs them?
Where are some lethal lightening bolts when one needs them?
And my friends wonder why I can’t stand sports anymore. Maybe we can get Mike Vick to show up too...or get Rae Carruth out of jail for a day.
Someone should let RL know that pandering to the black racists mentality isn’t fixing race relations in America, it is only aiding and abetting the democrat party empowerment manipulations of black people, and exploiting the tragic death of Treyvon Martin is the latest example. Poor Ray, also being exploited by the democrat machine!
They are taking their mask off one by one, and revealing themselves as unable to reasonably seek the facts of an issue at best, and racist, leftist at worst.
Tshirts on sale at the event:
A link to one article regarding Holmes’ troubled past:
Lewis in deed beat the rap.
Self-Defense against a Hooded Gansta attack is now criminal?
Just one more ratchet notch away for me not giving a crap about professional sports, and the mouthy, arrogant criminal thugs like Ray Lewis, that infest them.
The two man were stabbed to death, and although Lewis and two of his homeboys were charged with murder and aggravated assualt, nobody was pronounced guilty of the deaths because nothing could be proven. Ray Lewis ultimately plead out to an obstruction of justice charge for ditching a suit he was wearing.
"You don't care if I'm guilty or not. You gonna make sure I go to jail for life." -- Ray Lewis.
You think he'd be the last guy who'd want to get involved in this Trayvon Walker case, but Lewis isn't the smartest man amongst his peers, to say the least.
anyone else notice the msm and rally people have been mum on why trayvon was suspended from school in miami....the school also said it was confidential....hmmm...
Ray Lewis, huh? I am not surprised.
Zimmerman has been convicted in the courts of media and the black power / race baiter types.
I suspect the unrest will now grow without bound, fed by Obama's minions.
maybe Zimmerman needs to get La Raza and other Hispanic groups out to protest at the way the black community or some of them anyway are trying to call Zimmerman not what he is.
The left will over play this as they always do and already our local news is turning on them and calling out the race baiters like the black panthers and the Sharptons.
I’m getting Jacksonville media where I am
I’m proud to say that our Steelers unloaded Santonio Holmes in 2010. It should have happened sooner. What an asshat!
Actually it was a nightclub in Buckhead (Cobalt Lounge) and it was two men that were stabbed/killed. Nobody was ever charged because the stabbers claimed self defense.
I believe this was black on black crime so the rules are way different.
Ray Lewis recently started up some controvery when he stated that crime will increase if there is no football this season.
Santonio Holmes celebrating
Steelers WR Santonio Holmes has been sued in civil court by a woman who alleged he threw a glass full of liquor at her earlier this month.
Court House News reported the suit, in which Anshonoe Mills alleged that Holmes ordered her to “get up” off a couch inside the VIP section of the Rain Night Club in Orlando on March 7. The suit alleged that Holmes and Mills tussled over placement on the couch, with Holmes claiming he had been there before her.
In the suit, Mills alleged that Holmes threw a glass filled with liquor into her face that cut her.
GET A ROPE!
If Zimmerman had shot Martin after Martin raped and killed a nun, there would still be vigils, race-hustling and whitey hating going on with this crew...I am all out of give a damn....
Jesse AND Al are both showing up?! How does that work? Will they do race-baiting duets? Race baiting solos?
Would like for someone to ask them if they think that the evidence should be presented before a mob scene complete with death threats is a good idea.
Since the MSM sucks I’m not 100% sure what all the details are of this story - and damn sure asshats Sharpton and Jackson don’t either!
He was the one that did the murder and pulled an OJ and walked.
This thug has got a lot of nutz.
I'd like to see the MI-13 show up an challenge this crew of black bad asses.
When are they going to Kansas City?
It might happen in time. (FYI - it’s MS-13)
without Plaxico, it’s just another crummy rally.
Wouldn’t make any sense to be one if you couldn’t act like one.
Wonder what would happen if a bounty were offered on Black NFL players?
OR How about Black NCAA tournament players?
Yes, the Steelers gave Holmes many chances and he blew them. Drugs in particular. And didn’t he shoot himself in the foot with an unlicensed weapon?
That was Plaxico Burress.
Thanks. Yes, another role model.
When is Jose Baez going to come out of the woodwork to defend a fellow Latino???
Licensed or not, it was one of the few things he did right. He just should have aimed it a little higher . . . at his johnson. :->
